Nice hotel, located on the outskirts of Lund. The room was clean and comfortable, and a good size for our family of four, although we lost our sitting room because the pull-out couch was the second bed. The staff at the check-in desk and the breakfast room were friendly and attentive, and all the facilities were clean and well-kept. Breakfast was great -- hot eggs and meats, cereal and yogurt, cold meat and cheese, hot and cold drinks -- just the thing to get the day started. Lots of shopping/.
all reviews » Welcoming and friendly staff. Very good family room and a large bathroom with both shower and a bath tub. Good and large breakfast (even gluten-free bread), very attentative staff. Good restaurant in the evening (even with a somewhat limited menu during the summer). The kids appreciated the pool (even though the water was rather cold...). Check in and out was easy. Bed was confertable. Free wifi. A very mild negative -- the hotel sits a little apart from the city center and shopping/eating locations. If you want to do something in town, you need to drive there. Also, maybe it's a nordic thing, but the pool is COLD!. The water in the pool was rather cold (even for the kids)... Expensive drinks and beer in the hotel bar. The interior decoration is getting a bit outdated. No inside parking. We found the rooms a bit dirty as well as the corridors. As far as breakfast is concerned they did not replace the nuttela which was annoying. The staff was not service minded which is a big minus. No smiles! The staff need to go on a course to learn how to behave in a service minded way. The rooms were too hot but the towel rale was ice cold and it was not fixed even though we asked them to fix it!. The breakfast could have been better. I was missing some jam to put in the yoghurt (or the Swedish fil) at the breakfast. The orange juice was as on the most hotels visited of very low quality. The soft boiled egg were hard. Very few hotel manage to serve soft boiled eggs. Dont try to serve soft boiled eggs if you fail on a daily basis or improve the process. Really in need of updating. Rooms and decor were very tired. Bathrooms also. Evening menu was very limited, and they were understaffed with 2 staff to run both the restaurant and bar so service was slow. The pool and saunsa are not inviting. More expensive than the other hotel I stayed in - for no reason.
