I stayed in Finn Hotel ( Large Apartment ) for 3 weeks and It was a really good experience. Room is a very clean, everything is new. It also includes everything you want: kitchen, great bathroom, sofa, large bed, fridge, iron and accessories. Gym is also good. Probably its the best hotel for long visit in Lund. I am going to stay in Finn hotel next time!. What a great place! Great studio, utilities (even the washing machine/dryer are available), parking, in the walking distance from the centre, helpful and friendly staff. Clean, modern design, you can prepare your own food (kitchenette in the studio). Big TV screen ;).
all reviews » A good solution to avoid the high costs of accomodation in Lund. There is no 'formal' reception, but generally there is staff to help you in check in or check out operations. By the way, the staff is a high point of Finn Hotel: really welcoming and helpful. This hotel has everything that I value: - New and clean room/bathroom. - Great spacious bed. - Fast, easy and free WiFi with no login required. - Simple, but high quality breakfast - Free parking available in front of the hotel. - Gym. It was an amazing experience of living in a hotel where everything is automated. It is very interesting that human communication is almost completely eliminated. Oh, and of course design deserves top ratings!. Everything was to my satisfaction. Can definately recommend this hotel to anyone. I have tried more or less all hotels in Lund and this is where I will stay in the future. Very kind and helpful girls working there, beautiful hotel and room decoration! Self service check in/out - need full time receptionist.10 min (pleasant) walk to town. nothing particulary. Just a comment about the photos no 2 and 7 are identical. A photo of the shower place could be displayed. I could not get bike in the evening, only the next morning when stuff was arround. There was no desk in room. Inconvenient system with blocking 250 sek while checking-in. As citizen of another country I found it too tricky. You could use this money while person is checking-out. At least you don`t feel that you pay more than necessary. The bed spread/ cover (under the sheet and douvet) was dirty and stained. That's unacceptable. Little food choice for breakfast and food could be healthier instead of being a rather 'fast' food type. There was strange smell coming from the bathroom. Budget hotel. No glas in the bathroom, some lights did not work. No restaurant. Location was too far out from train station. Too far to walk with luggage cases. Also food was limited. You would have to go back into town for a restaurant. Breakfast. I could never get one of the free bikes, they were always rented out when i asked. My room was in the basement with almost no daylight. I had to wait for some breakfast items 4 out of 5 times during my stay. Small room, difficult to check-in, uncomfortable bed, uncomfortable pillow, poor breakfast.
