For me was a realy nice experience in this Hostel. For that money you have nothing bad to say . The hotel is in the perfect location . You have everything around you . The brackfast was very good , modest but as a vegetarian perfect / cereal/ milk /tee / koffe / bread/ fruits ... All what u need to have a good start . The personal was very young and nice . The room was very clean with a big bath . The wifi was very good sometimes I had even in my room at 3th floor connection . I will definitel.
all reviews » I stayed at this hostel with my sister who is a regular hostel visitor and she told me it's one of the best she's stayed in. We both agree that the facilities are excellent for the price paid and the staff were so very friendly and most helpful in every way. We were made to feel so at home.. We will recommend this hostel to all our friends and family. I really loved this hostel. Best location near the Sol,,so I could enjoy the nightlife near the center of Madrid by walking, Breakfast was perfect.. It was Cheap..2 Nights for 36 euros with full buffet breakfast and free wifi, 3 dorm room with private bathroom. . Wifi worked well and I could even use the internet for free. -4 beds room which is clean -Bathroom in the same room which is clean and light. Includes both shower, bathtub and small place to wash the legs -Location of the hotel -Quiet enough -Friendly and helpful staff -Good bar -Breakfast (which is not that big) included -Locker inside the room. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Bed sheets provided as well as a lockers. Excellent value for money as it is very central with great access to metros and the main places to see/do. Don't miss the offered free walking tour!!. Location was great, just off Gran Vía and a 5 minute walk to Puerta del Sol. The rooms were clean and perfect for a weekend trip with friends. The hostel's bar on the ground floor. You can eat some sandwiches for 1.5-2 euros if you're still hungry. 2. The staff will offer you free sightseeing tours, pub crawls. It was not easy for me to locate it, having gotten out of the Calloa Metro station, even using GPS and Google maps I could not easily locate it. The people around were not of much help as they could not direct me to the place. In the evening as I was moving around I found a group of people who seemed to be loking for the same place but could not locate it even having been able to get to the Gran Via street. Because of the poor heating system and the old windows in the room, I was really cold. Outside it was 2 degrees at night, in the room it must have been 15. Only jam for breakfast. Only one electric charging point was working in the room instead of three available. The bartender in the evening was not friendly at all. Wi-Fi in the rooms. Some days the weather in Madrid is cold ,so the blanket may not be enough... Bad breakfast and little dining room. Breakfast could be earlier, before 8.00(7.30), so we did not get breakfast because we left earlier to the airport. Seating arrangements for breakfast - a bit awkward. Concrete floor in the eating area. Rooms are a bit small not much Space for everyone's luggage but hey can't have everything!. A little bit cold in night time. some rude and noisy neighbors. place for breakfast. the dining room is too small..we really have to finish our breakfast as soon as possible so other guest can use the table. The room I stayed (6-bedroom female) was tiny, when we were 6 there we could hardly move No cooking facilities Slow lift. 1. Lock of the my room's door was not good - i had to spent at least ~5 min to open and to close the door. 2. There was no lock in my locker. 3. No soap and no air freshener. 4. Wi-fi just in lobby and in the hostel's bar. 5. Breakfast looked like toastes with jam and snacks (cakes and cookies). Breakfast buffet was very poor and of low quality food. Expensive for a hostel. the room is too basic; the double bed a little bit small for 2 people (room 405) - a twin bed room wasn't available anymore-; very noisy in the late night. I didn't like the room - there were no place to sit other than bunk-bed, which is not so convenient if you stay on the top one. The staff wasn't very friendly to Americans and gave you rude looks sometimes. broken lockers; squeaky doors; breakfast staff telling me that breakfast was over before the time ( i couldnt even get a cup of tea 5 minutes before the hour). Wifi not good enough and the room is a little bit cold in the nite. missing blankets, no wifi in rooms. I can't image that the hostel have no WiFi in our rooms. It's crazy noisy at night which surrounding the sound from square. I could hear the talking and making... from neighbors. Not really liked the kitchen and breakfast. would establish a plate and a refrigerator and a possibility at any time to drink tea,coffee.
