Staff were wonderful always smiling, nothing ever too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Coffee, tea, juice etc available to guests in Breakfast area all day/night. Location was excellent ... Short walk to San Miguel markets, Metro, and a little more to Plaza de la Puerta del Sol. Clean rooms with good security - always someone in reception and guests have to be buzzed in by reception.
all reviews » The staff were super nice. Breakfast was till 11am (super late compared to other places) and was simple but fresh and delicious. The room was more than we had hoped for. We asked for a room with a balcony and thats exactly what we got. Great location and just a really nice place to come to at the end of a long day sightseeing. the stuff was very kind and helpful. rooms were comfortable. and the location was perfect, just walking distance to almost any touristic place and also to La Latina, our favourite barrio in Madrid. Also Chic&Basic Ramblas was very good as well. The hotel is located near La Latina. But very close to Placa del Sol and Placa Major. Staff is friendly. Coffe and tea 24 hours on the first floor. The bathroom with glass wall is amazing and unforgettable)). Shower is a glass cubicle in the middle of the room with very little or no privacy although my husband thought it was great. Was a little noisy at night from people walking past on street. I believe there were smoking rooms on our floor and we could sometimes smell the cigarette smoke in our room. breakfast is kinda poor. Floor and walls unfortunately were not very clean. There is nothing to dislike about the hotel!. Needs some repairing. Room could be better although the glass bathroom was really amazing!!!!!. That the elevator sometimes has problem that period only. Staff, although nice, could be more warm and informative. construction work right in next building starting early in the morning - but, its just temporary :-) couldnt fix the light in the shower... The shower is really nice design but the fixed shower head makes it a bit difficult to keep showering under control.. :). MUCH to expensive for that what is offered. basic, but not chic. rooms and hotel to ordinary. breakfast not acceptable.
