Everything! The staff were very nice and helpful, especially Ioana:) She hepled me a lot. I even got a gift from the hotel! So sweet! The hotel is located in the heart of city center, walking distance to shops, restaurants, bus stops etc. Rooms are not big but very comfortable, I got a balcony with my room. I like the art work they did to the towels, amazing lol. I would book this hotel again if I travel to Madrid in the future. I had a really great time in Madrid.
all reviews » It was an amazing hostel. The centric location, it is connected to all public transportations. The best thing is all the beautiful spots can be visited by walking. All my basic needs were catered. The room is clean with comfortable bed. The staffs are willing to extend there help. I really appreciate the kindness and the excellent service you have extended guys! I will definitely recommend to my friends and family member. Hope to see you next year!. It is a centric hostel, you can reach all the beautiful spots in Madrid by walking. Near the metro statio, Tirso de Molina, and there are so many buses that connects to different place. All our needs are catered during our stay; clean room, good breakfast and ever helpfull staffs. I highly recommend this hostel to my friends and family members. Hasta pronto Hostal ART Madrid!. The staff there are really nice, though only one of them knows English, they tried to understand me and provide help. One girl even changes my originally booked single room to a double one so that I would have a better rest. Good location, 2 minutes walk to tube station, and only one stop to Sol square and two stops to the train station. Would definitely recommend!. Excellent position, very clean and silent room and really gentle people! It's possible visit the city without taking the tube! The staff was really gentle and at total guests disposal, ready to fulfill our requests. We don't speak Spanish and only bit of English but it was simple to communicate with them. I strongly suggest this hotel!. The welcome was warm and helpfulness was excellent . We were allowed to leave our cases when we arrived early in the morning and until the evening of our departure although we had to vacate the rooms at 11AM , so we were able to continue sightseeing without the encumbrance of luggage . This Hostel ,was one of my biggest surprise I ever had in terms of hostels. The mattress was very soft, I had back-ache in the morning. Bed matress a little hard to sleep on. We had a front room facing the street. I slept OK but my wife didn't. The bedroom was quite noisy due to the type of the mattress support but in the complex it is not a real problem. everything was perfect. room was a little small for 3 people, but not a problem. Nothing i can remember. Simple but decent breakfast in a stylish cafe next door unfortunately served only on workdays and after 8.45 - too late for early birds. Wifi is not connected sometimes, but for most time it's ok. The door is small of the hostel so maybe you'll not sure if the door is hostel'S. it is not very easy to find, the sign is little small. Nothing. The bed, the small room. Nothing. The noise! Very loud people surrounding us, not in the hotel, but in street and patios below until 3AM :-( . Bring sleeping pills/ear plugs!. 1. Bit noisy. Not all staff speaks - understands english. a little noise. Noice from the street. Difficult to find in the dark and finding the hotel from the internal lobby. Very tiny room, almost claustrophobic, not suggested for families, especially with a baby. No closets in the room, no fridge, so you can't even keep baby's milk, food or drinks. :(( No free parking around, you pay everywhere and quite expensive. Not good at english.... The room is a little bit old and simple. You can clearly hear the sound outside.
