  We arrived at 11.30am after starting from home at 3.30am. We were delighted to be told a room was available and that our request for a room in the quiter part of the hotel had been honoured. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu offering a varied choice of well prepared dishes at a reasonable price. We would recommend this hotel to our friends... what people say » . - Free internet access, free breakfast, free water and apples...you can't go wrong! Plus the rooms are really modern, the staff is really nice, the price was right and the hotel is within walking distance (.5 miles) to some of Barcelona's main sites.

The breakfast-buffet was very big and of - The rooms overlooking into the interior of the building,where we stayed on the first night, have no daylight and the ventilation is insufficient. So we asked to change to a front room with a window that could be opened. Our request was immediately satisfied. The staff were exceptional and the strongest point of the hotel.The rooms were comfortable and properly cleaned.Breakfast is good and the hotel location is excellent.

  The hotel was very clean. Rooms were bigger than I had expected and they did have air conditioning. Bathroom had large bath with shower. Towels and bedsheets were changed daily.   rooftop terrace and pool were great to have as a home base! - I thought the location was perfect. The rooftop terrace was a bit small but really nice especially when you first arrive and want to relax. The staff were great they couldn't do enough for you.

  we received a great discount for staying more than 3 nights, the room was high above the quality we paid for, the staff was very nice and was happy to help. the terrace was a wonderful addition to the room, and we only had a 10 min walk to subway or bus stop. - Totally value for money.   We were delighted with this hotel. It was right in the heart of Las Rambles. As we arrived from a Cruise, we checked in at 10am and a room was assigned to us right away.   the location of the hotel was excellent. It was in a street which was almost in the middle of the La Rambla. The hotel was clean enough and safe because they were not letting everybody to enter to the hotel you have to ring the bell to enter day and night. The Liceu metro station was 3 minutes far from the hotel. They have recommended a restaurant... what people say » named Salamanca but we didnt like it. - Hesperia is a great hotel to stay in if you want to fall out of bed into the bustle of Barcelona life. It is perfectly located for the fabulous Bouqueria Market, shopping, tapas and bars. The rooms are bright, modern, spacious, comfortable, and the staff were great. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to all. Great value for money

  The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.

Very clean and quiet room, as advertised. Requested change of sheets after 3 days, else housekeeping was superb. Didn't try the restaurant. - Central location, spacious room.

  We were very pleased with the hotel. The location is very good and it's easy to access the public transport and the tourist buses.
