We were delighted with this hotel. It was right in the heart of Las Rambles. As we arrived from a Cruise, we checked in at 10am and a room was assigned to us right away. The staff on the front desk were first class and extremely helpful. We would certainly use this hotel again Sincerely Paul and Josie Knight. The location was perfect! Right in the heart of everything. If anyone has an issue with a city that does not sleep, this is not the place for them.

Desk staff was only sufficient-not profficient. Bar closed ridculouly early, around 11pm. The same was the case with the outside restaurant. Price of vodka and coke was at first thought to be a joke at 8 euros but was unfotunately correct. Even though description said that sound proof windows were fitted to the bedrooms this clearley was not the case in my room.There was very loud street noise in my room until about 4A.M.very noisy in rooms at front of the hotel. The location is noisy far into the night but the windows block out much of the noise. I found this to be part of the charm of being in a great location.The fact that there is no mini fridge or kettle. was a little loud being on ramblas but nothing drastic.Part of the staff. Also, that I paid the whole stay on the first night, part in cash on the rest on my credit card, and then at check out the employees were claiming I had only paid one night. But after some investigation, they found the entire bill paid for. There was no where to get a coffee, I think if tea/coffee were put into the rooms it would have been much better.bathroom had much smell of drains. It would be nice to have an iron in the rooms.Having recently stayed at a more upscale hotel within the Husa chain, this one felt a bit down-at-the-heels for the price. It's an older hotel and it feels its age a bit. The noise at night, should have expected it being directly on the Ramblas.Even though there was double glazing it was still a bit noisy in our room facing La Rambla. Room facing street very loud during evening and night time. We purchased ear plugs to help sleep... Wake up call never given on the morning of our flight home...could have easily missed our flight home.Poor sound proofing between rooms. The fact that there was no dinning facility/ night snack service.You can't get a drink (T coffee ) in your room at night. You can only get full breakfast not just a coffee. The room was very, very cold had to sleep with extra clothes. I made it know to two different staff members. Unfriendly reception staff, no room service or mini-bar.
