all reviews » The location was superb for our holiday purposes. Placa Reial was a great buzzy place to be, but yet the double glazing ensured a good night's sleep in our rooms which overlooked it. The staff were excellent: helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We loved the included minibar and breakfast, and the fruits etc provided fresh every day. Nothing really - a little noisy during the night but to be expected given the location. Despite the efforts to isolate the noise it can be a bit too much at night. The service at breakfast was very slow and haphazard at times . nothing. Breckfast need moor options and developments. Very little space in Common areas and bedroom was quite small. everything was great. Quirky light switches. Never figured out how to switch the lights off and on. All good. Expensive, but good. need to bring plug adapters/nothing works without them/blew sound machine out bathtub fixtures complicated and no hot water for bath/ would not stay here again for this reason. Pick Pockets. The noise coming from the street till early morning. We had our room in the first floor overlooking the restaurant square. Hotel should provide earplugs as courtesy, seriously speaking. That's the only observation, otherwise it's an excellent hotel. Personal at reception very unfriendly. My girlfriend was sick but a certain Claudia at reception flatly refused us 15 minutes extra time on leaving, stating that we would have "problems"...
