Very friendly staff. Clean sheets for bed. It's also useful to have access to the kitchen, where we could cook our own food. As it's a small hostel, many of the guests get to talk to each other at the reception so the atmosphere is very positive. I'd like to leave an advice: they offer to pick up/take its clients from/to the airport and it is definetely worth it. Thumbs up! :). Quite clean, excellent location, good internet connection, in comfort dormitory room each bed has an individual night lamp and power socket. But the main advantage is that it's really warm in the hostel (I stayed in several hostels in Spain in winter and it's usually unbearably cold inside, specially during the daytime)!.
all reviews » Price was great. Air conditioning not working second night. Only one shower for men. No bar in hostel so they didn't mind people bringing drinks in for the night. When they gave me a locker key I found a passport, wallet and computer in the locker. Good thing I'm an honest guy. Bed was comfortable. The staff was really nice, the guy from Scotland, sorry I didn't asked your name, and 24 hours front desk There were only two staying in a room of 16. a little weird, but really nice stay there, seems hostels in BCN only have blankets, no quilt. The Hostels I've stayed in since have been more expensive and a bit weird. Feeling very lucky!. 1.Very friendly and helpful staffs:). 2.There's a small "kitchen corner" on the ground floor where you can cook, very convenient, though I've only used the kettle. 3.Location is good, not far from Metro, the Ramblas, and Montjuic. New, comfortable, clean, safe, cheap, homelike, with practical kitchen, nice common places, friendly helpful stuff and perfect location. Also providing vouchers for free entrance to nightclubs, free walking tours and free dinner!. Delightful and very helpful staff. Nice and clean Bus shuttle to airport for 22euro handy. Cheaper for more people. Its a tiny hostel and rooms are tight for space but good for what it can be in light of that space restriction. The staff is beyond praise! So incredibly friendly, open and helpful, that's definitely the strongest point of the hostel. The second advantage is the location, it's close to almost all places of interest in Barcelona. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They had a variety of tourist info and there was an outside terrace. It was a great place to meet people and I made several great new friends. Lockers were provided free of charge. Terrace was good. There was not time deadline. The location -- it's close to the port and also the famous Ramblas, but far enough away from the craziness. But I was lucky for the day I stayed that room was almost empty.... 1.Location is good but not easy to find (at least for me:P) 2.It would be more convenient if there's a small light for each bed. Nothing, everything was perfect. Not enough bathrooms/toilets. Very small kitchen. The smell in the room wasn't particularly nice. The plug sockets in the comfort room didn't seem to work for us - we could even get our plug into most of them. Also, the toilet and shower door didn't lock. When we got there, there was only one comfort bed available (even though we had booked 2) so I had to go on a normal bed for the first night. if you are looking for any privacy whatsoever, this is not the plc for you.. Lockers were poor and could easily be broken into and pulled open. Could have been a larger area for people to hang out and chill. Maybe an extra sofa or two. nothing. not for married couples :(. It's not a large hostel, so I imagine it could become very quiet depending on who's staying there. Kitchen sink awkward to use!. WiFi was down for an afternoon. Unfortunately I got bitten by bed bugs but the staff were very helpful and gave me a different bed and clean linen asap. I lived in a room with window facing the street, it is very bright due to the street light. They should add curtain to it. The kitchen is not very convince. The sink in under a cupboard so I need to bent myself to wash dishes. No activity in hostel and therefore difficult to meet other trevellers. There is hostel next door and they party, play table games and so on all the time, but in Box it is always quiet and empty( Staff is friendly and helpful if you ask for smth. Everything was perfect. Considering the charges no particular dislike. Nothing. No light in the shower. noisy. Space was a bit congested. Towels are not provided. Breakfast is not provided. But for the price it was perfect. For what we paid, not much. The only issue is that the dorms are 16 person, not 14 person like it is listed on this website. Bad quality bed, toilets are not always clean, limited storage space. I asked for a 4 bed dormatory while booking but was forced to take 18 bed dormatory. So as per their profit they changed my booking without my consent.it was horrible experince.
