The hotel is well located at the top of La Rambles. The room was small but adequate. It had the normal bathroom amenitities including a hairdryer. It was cleaned regularly. We had a great city street view. I had read about it been noisy but didnt find it that noisy. Just closed the terrace door and turn the air conditioning on and it was fine. We stayed there Sunday to Wednesday. Everything was close by including shopping, bank, restaurants and bars. We ventured on the side streets and found gr.
all reviews » The hotel was the perfect location. Only 2 miles away from the cruise terminal, one street away from the Airport Shuttle pick up and drop off location, and between two metro stops. Located on Las Ramblas, I was expecting the hotel to be of low quality because of the price, but I was amazed at how gorgeous the rooms were- and how spacious! Front desk staff is very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Free wifi, breakfast for a couple euros, and beautiful rooms. Location! It was in a perfect spot surrounded by stores and restaurants! The bus stop was only a few meters from the exit. The staff was beyond friendly! When our trip from Barcelona to Italy got cancelled, we had to stay longer in town. Without reservations! As we informed the hotel about our situation, they managed to find us a room after a few minutes! When I return to Spain, I will make sure to visit this hotel again. We loved the central location and easy access to the Metro. We ended up paying an extra 5euros for breakfast, but it was well worth it for the convenience. Being adjacent to "Placa de Catalunia" it gives easy access to airport buses and tour buses. We were talking to a Swedish couple who were staying there for the 7th time and we would have no hesitation about doing the same. The location at the top was excellent and the bus from airport dropped off and picked up at Placa Catalunya just across the square. The staff were friendly and accommodating....the buffet breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection. The room we changed to ion the second night was excellent and quite large which was great as I had a child in a wheelchair. Location - right on the La Ramblas. Easy access to Aerobus on the main plaza, easy to find taxis, good for shopping and dining. Despite being in the centre of the city, it was not noisy and we slept well. Breakfast selection was good. Some TV channels in English. Reception staff was very welcoming/friendly and offered great tips on how to get to main attractions. We had booked a room for 3 persons, but isntead we got an appartment with kitchen same price. It was clean, large, and it had comfortable beds. Well, the hotel rooms I don't know, but the apparment was good and hotel staff were nice and polite with good english skills. We enjoyed everything about Hotel Lloret Ramblas. We stayed six nights and it was great value. The room was spotless,the front of house staff were very helpful, we could walk from the hotel to so many sights, great tapas bars, restaurants and shops.It was close to the metro and airport bus as well. We definitely will return to this hotel it is a gem. Very good place both for the solo travelers and young couples. Especially for those who first time visit Barcelona. The room was on the "right" side of the hotel and the noise from the Rambla could not be heard making sleeping much easier. The bath wasn't big enough to call a bath and the room was slightly noisy because it overlooked "La Ramblas". There was a bit of a mixup in our rooms when we arrived so we didn't get the room we had booked for the first night - this was difficult as we had a wheelchair with us. There was also a long wait until we were able to get into our room at this stage my daughter was worn out from travelling. However the staff did do all they could and were very apologetic. Our room could do with some renovation as there were a few cracks on the walls and decor was dated. Wifi is not stable. The room was a bit small and the toilet had no door. The room was facing the street so it gets very noisy at night. The breakfast area is small and crowded. If you have a room facing La Rambla it will be very noisy because there is activity on the street 24/7. When we entered the room, the lamp was being prepared. We left the mechanic finish his job, we continue shopping til nite. When we backed, the lamp was on. As far as we were concerned it was just what we wanted. There was nothing that I could complain about we stayed four days. We got what we paid for value for money. The Ramblas has people talking n singing till 6 am. Not a problem to me but to those who cant stand noise, advisable not to stay in front rooms. Thin walls so if the neighbours are the loud type you'll know about it. Nothing specific looking at the tariff for such location. Pillow was a bit thin. The hotel was a maze - we laughed that we needed to drop bread crumbs to find our way to/from the room. of course, we ultimately got it right, but initially it was a concern. Don't expect a single room to be a suite or a double room for half price. These rooms are tiny. Think open your suitcase on the bed and put it away to sleep. Window opened to air shaft. Nothing. Noise from La Rambla could be an issue if you had small children,but is unavoidable because this road never sleeps!!!. Rooms are small but wer just fine because we are out site seing most of the time. N/A. It's a hotel on Las Ramblas, therefore its quite noisy and the rooms are not soundproofed!. No tomatoes at breakfast(just love Spanish tomatoes). A bit noisy, mainly noise from the street. Could be a problem in the summer if you have to sleep with the window open. The noise from the workmen, but its all good as the hotel is currently undergoing reforms and due to finish by the end of Dec 2013. No freezer in my room,I don't even know how was others room... Limited space in the room. We thought the breakfast was quite sufficient but on the drinks side the water was far from being hot enough to make decent tea. Otherwise everything was good. Male receptionist with the long hair is not helpful, didn't want to answer question because he said he was busy. What kind of service is that?. The balcony overlooked a narrow street at the side of the hotel which was a bit noisy late at night. in the middle of a refit, but our room was nice and when the lifts and carpets are complete it will be great. Toilet seat was shaky. Nothing!. No kettle in room. A bit noisy at night.
