The hotel was everything we hoped for and more! We arrived early (8:30 am), Vinnie and Kristina at the front desk stored our luggage in a secure locked area, leaving us free to explore the sights until check-in. Upon check-in, we were greeted with glasses of sparkling cava. Vinnie and Kristina represent the hotel most excellently. Kudos to them and to the hotel for their attention to detail.

Despite contacting hotel twice before arrival, smoking room was not available, so our guests had to pack and change room the day after. They warn about that, so it is fair, but it would be nice to be able to choose room type at reservation and not at the arrival. Some of the rooms are small indeed, but it is the city centre, so no need to stay long in the room. Beds a little uncomfortable for 4*.The room was a little on the small side - and the bath was pretty tiny! - but not unusually so for European hotels, and in no way did these minor points detract from our stay. We would definitely stay there again. The noice from the metro. small roms. The bed was very hard!. Our room on the second floor and facing the street was a bit noisy - I think we could even hear the trains from the conveniently nearby metro. I saw larger rooms than ours but they may have been more expensive...Should be able to use gym / spa etc all the time. No. Restaurant was below ground and i found it too warm. Rooms were a bit on the small size.Main course in restaurant could have been a bit warmer,Drinks in lobby bar were expensive.the beds in room were not comfortable - matress was so hard. Rooms are a bit small.At first they were not willing allow chech-in before 3pm, even if the room was already available. But also that was easily solved and I got the room immieatly on arrival at 12:30. bed was very uncomfortable, and the hotel was hot.Bed was very hard. One of its facilities was closed on the arriving day, the terrace, one of the best arguments. An coincidence but it happen. In a 4 star hotel full post service should assured. You shouldn´t say to the costumer "buy the stamp, we post it". Just a small improvement to be made, that´s all.
