I am rating this place before getting there, so it may be a little bit biased. We are set to arrive in Barcelona on sept 19, 2012. 6 of my friends booked the apartment and we wanted to add me and my husband to the group. I emailed to info@apartmentsinbarcelona.net. Reply came prompt, very curteous, very polite and, my feeling was, with a true desire to make our stay as hassle free as possible. The staff were fantastic, and the rooms were kept very clean and tidy all the time. There were no problems at all, and I would definitely recommend bed and brekfast avino to all of my friends. Thank you for an amazing stay!. Amazing rooms, very helpful staff, perfect area for young people (nice cafés, bars, nice little shops, supermarket just around the corner). Lovely room and good location. Central location. Location was excellent and free breakfast the lady had put out in the morning. Nice new bathroom with good shower ( don't be alarmed as hot water takes a while to come thourgh though). A beautiful apartment in the old gothic center of Barcelona. Especiallythe size of the hotel is great. 4 bathrooms and 4 sleeping rooms, livingroom and kitchen make it a perfect place. it´s a little noisy at night and the breakfast is quite simple. But there are nice cafés around the corner (traditional spanish ones and a starbucks as well). Very hard to find no markings on or over the door we and other guests walked past several times,also pick-pockets nearby we were very carefull but still got robed. They still do not have any sign up, it's the double wooden doors next to American Apparel store opposite Adidas to help you out. Booked just standard room which was quite small, but then again we spent most of our time out exploring Barcelona so not really an issue as comfortable bed.The concierge wanted to close two bedrooms because we attended with onlytwo people, which was weird. The apartment was very noisy and the towelswhere only changed once during the whole week. The concierge entered ourapartment without any warning. It would have been normal to call beforeentering the room. We did not feel save in our apartment.
