  To put my stay in context, I normally stay in 5 star hotels and have travelled extensively. The stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations, the location is great, the place beautiful. Helen and her mother were perfect hosts and I can’t rate this place high enough. It is thoroughly recommended. - Amanzi was absolutely beautiful and the staff ... what people say » was fantastic.   Had a lovely stay at Cunningham's and was very impressed with our accommodation which was very comfortable and spacious and right next to the pool area which is also very nice. The breakfast was excellent each morning with a nice selection of fresh fruit,yoghurts, cereals and then eggs how you like with bacon,mushroms and tomatoes.The staff were e... what people say » fficient and friendly and we loved the honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks as and when and pay at the end of your stay. Very good value - Amazing breakfast with fresh fruits and continental option, along with the classic cooked option. Recommend the scrambled eggs. We had the premium room and it was very tastefully furnished, very spacey and comfortable. Nice pool area with honesty bar and wood burner - perfect to sit in front of on a chilly evening with a bottle of wine. The owner Tim is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place - lovely location on Leisure Island with a 10min walk to the beach looking out towards t - A very pleasant place to stay. We were in the outside cottage - fairly basic but absolutely adequate. Very bright with white everywhere, giving the place an opportunity to display how spotlessly clean everything was. The owner was the larger than life Tim, a real character. Breakfast was great. The location was superb being only a few minutes drive to Thesen island waterfront or just take a stroll around leisure island. It was idyllic. Tim even had my car washed. "It goes better when its clean"

I would recomend this Guest House to anybody stopping in Knysna, it will make your visit to the city much more special.

The staff were really helpful and Lloyd popped in while we were having breakfast and had some great recommendations for us, and even took the time to go through the local maps to show us places of interest.   The accommodation was excellent, spacious, and luxuriously furnished. We had complete privacy both inside and on the balcony, which had wonderful views of the lagoon.
