all reviews » The place is really amazing! It feels like in living in a jungle. All huts are uniquely designed and the staff is just great. They help you with everything you want and were really helpful and friendly. Their welcoming of us as a family (We travelled with two kids and my parents) was honest and open hearted. Definitely a place I would recommend highly.. The guesthouse is unique in it's kind. The rooms were located in a beautiful garden. Theres a nice cosy and friendly atmosfere, the hosts helped us a great deal in planning our activities and giving us advice in what to do around Knysna. Central but tucked away - close proximity to everything in Knysna, only a few minutes drive to the town and the East Head. The design of the rooms, the fire in the fire place at late arrival, the hospitality of the owners and everyone working there, the scenery, the breakfast, the design and layout of the dining area. I will definately come again!. the rooms are nice and with lots of space, the gardens and walk ways are brilliant, like been in Bali, the staff are a laugh a minute ,They make you feel very much at home. Nothing seems to be a problem. after travelling for a week, we arrived to Bamboo. it's hard to describe the feeling, like to being in other world. really sorry to leave, were the best 3 days of the vacations: warm, confort, cool.... This is a magical place with comfortable cottages scattered around an enchanted garden full of surprises. The food was great. The hosts were so friendly that after one day we felt like old friends. Bamboo is children's paradise! Ours enjoyed the pool, the birds and all the little nooks and crannies, kept them busy while we relaxed! Would love to go back for a little longer... Friendly staff, great place hard to describe, but like an oasis away from it all. Fantastic Braai and great welcome and the room was individual and charming with great touches !. We loved the staff especially Granny n her Gogo Craft shop. The breakfast staff were friendly. We loved the setting of the rooms and the wooden decking walking paths. Very down-to-earth! I didn't even feel like I was staying externally, it felt more like I was at a friend's house. Nice and green location and very interestingly decorated rooms. Nice place with a relaxed vibe. Nothing, we will be back and stay longer then... loved everything!. Nothing!. leaving,. nothing. Nothing it was excellent. Only problem was the shower, we didnt get the hot water to flow nicely in order to have full showers. It is gas conducted because of Knysna water and elec restrictions. That was a bit frustrating with three kids, but our stay was still a nice experience and we still enjoyed our stay there. All good. Nothing bad to say!. The bathroom's walls were a little bit moldy (room: Bullrush). Our cottage had spiderwebs under the furniture - not 100% clean. Internet availability!!!. Full english breakfast was a bit small. no sky on the telly. Pools were dirty. Wifi was v unreliable.
