Although the Apartment Residence is located in a pedestrian zone, guests may drive to the apartments all day.

Just amazing! Lil bit pricy than average we have taken but dont regret. When we booked we got an email full of details, what need to know, how to get there, if police comes etc. Felt so welcome! Found it easily, got infos about Bratislava, keys to the gates, driving permission sign etc. Room was downstairs in a small building on the yard, next to reception, car was safe in a gated area, bars on the window to the backyard, though the main street, didnt hear anything! Clean, nice room with so co.
all reviews » This was a lovely, comfortable and spacious apartment with stylish decor and excellent facililties. It was situated in a nice courtyard which also had a coffee shop, so we took advantage of the breakfasts, which were also very good. In addition there was an Italian restaurant in the courtyard with very high quality food and wine. The location was very handy for the old town, just 5 minutes walk, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether this was one of the best places I have ever stay. The private parking at no cost was something I was very thankful for. That we had to drive in the pedestrian-only zone got me nervous at first, but I think it's so common, we didn't get any glares at all. Our apartment was huge, clean, and felt very safe. The toilet looked like it was yanked out from a 5-star hotel - fantastic! Location was good - 5-minute walk from the St Michael's gate. The reception was warm, friendly, and helpful. We were shown and helped to our room, and given assistance to safely secure our bikes. The room was very clean and a good size, with plenty of storage, a desk and computer/internet, comfy bed, nice bathroom. It was very quiet back in a courtyard. Breakfast was good - filling and attractively served. We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the location was perfect. The apartment was very large, beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. It felt very homey and was a nice reprieve from the average hotel rooms you usually find while vacationing! =). It was very comfortable, centrally located,clean, bright and for excellent access to the National Theatre and the city center No problems, because I was born in Bratislava. It was rather pricey, but at least it was a very good apartment. Nothing to complain about. No dark curtains. So in the morning the sun wakes you up. It is a little bit expensive. There were two single beds instead of one double. But I am nit picking. The real problem is that you should tell them which time you arrive. They don't have 24h hour check-in. the air conditioning didn't work very well during the night so it was difficult to sleep cause the high temperature. The PC provided was v old and did not have a UPS facility which sound hv been useful The staff member at breakfast wasn't very 'customer friendly'. Breakfast in another building (around 100 m) - very unconvenient. small room. For me max 3 stars, not 4 like letsbookhotel.com describes. Very strong smell of an air fresher in the room – it could be a problem for a smell-sensitive people. We had a room close to the street and the tram; we woke up in the morning, but continued sleeping. It was ok. We didn't like Obhodna str which our apartments are located on. Especially in the evening. We couldn't feel comfortable there. could have been a pain the limited opening hours at reception, and then got picked up by unmarked taxi to take me to airport..... Time was short in morning and reception girl was a few minutes late which added slighly to my anxiety in getting to airport on time. very poor breakfast. none. Not enough hot water, we end up shower in the cold. The air cooling system kept so much noise that we could not keep it on during the night. There were millions of mosquitos in Bratislava this time, so we could not cool down by opening the windows either. Then at 5,30 someone came to the yard with his carriage and woke everyone up with the noise. So if you are looking for quiet place this is not it. The breakfast was terrible. Plus as we were leaving driving on the pedestrian road (only way to the hotel) we were stopped and fined 60€ by the police. We tried to explain we were leaving the hotel but the police did not care. When I complained to the hotel I was told "too bad". I would never go back with that lack of support from the management. Awful.

Apartment Residence is on your left in the courtyard (building no. 42). By car: Obchodna Street is a pedestrian zone. However, access is permitted for guests of Apartment Residence. Should you be stopped by the police, please explain that you are a guest of Apartment Residence or call Apartment Residence for assistance. Please enter Vysoka street 34 into your GPS system.
