The apartments were fantastic! We were met by the lovely Kari, who showed us to our 6th floor 1 bed apartment. The building itself has good security and a lift, and is very clean. The apartment was exactly what we needed. The bedroom was a good size with lots of wardrobe storage and a nice big window. The bed was very comfortable - one of the best I've slept in while away from home! The lounge and kitchen was one room, with a comfy sofa and a high table with 2 stools. The kitchen was equipped w.
all reviews » The apartment was well decorated, with all appliances you need. Balcony and a shared terrace was a plus for the "lucky" weather conditions we had. There is a child's playground in the garden and a supermarket right below the apartments. So we've been able to cook at home. Detergent for the dish washer and the washing machine is given - no need to bring your own. Recommended for long stays for leisure or business. Excellent location.We stayed at Platous 31 and 33 and all buildings are within walking distance from bus terminal(5 minutes) and Oslo S train station (10 m).Follow the bus terminal directions at train station and walk straight through bus terminal.Location is fantastic for city trips as main areas are walking distance. The staff is wonderful, and very helpful. The check in process was very easy, and getting to the apartments from the central train station was less than an 8 minute walk. Fresh towels plenty of cleaning and toiletries provided in some apartments they only give you 1 of everything, i.e. one dishwasher tab., This maybe small issue but makes a big difference and seperates them way ahead of the others I have stayed in, in Norway. This was a ruined holiday because of this apartment.First the bed was extremely soft and uncorftable because is very small (only 140x180) and the two pesons soimply non't have enough space to sleep normally. If the customers need to make an normal temperature inside windows must be opened all time day and nigh but because of high level of noise you c. There is no possibility of a "second key" to the apartment. The trams run just outside the apartments and can be terribly noisy .You could opt for an apartment away from that but the road side offers a super view . The location of the apartment building is close to the train and bus stations, so one needs to be careful when walking to and from the apartment building,, particularly late at night. The Internet connection was lost early in the morning of the day when we left and I needed for some last minute driving plan back to Sweden. There is not much not to like, though the area is not the best in town. The beds are long enough, but much too narrow. all good, nothing bad. Water leaking from the shower on the bathroom floor (but it dries up easily). - Expensive! - No telephone service in the apartment. The bed is too soft, i like it a little bit harder. The way to get the key is not so easy. You need to phone, than they send a SMS informing the address (there are more than 1 building) and schedule the time to meet. And after 11 pm there is no one in the office. (Would be easier to have a box with a code to get the key) The streets that surround the building are under construction and a little bit noisy. The bedroom is small and the bed is leant against the wall and there is no nightstand at the other side. Staffs only working certain hours also there is extra charge hourly if you check in too late or too early. needs an extra chair not enough seating for 3 of usnto relax. The beds could be a bit harder, just a personal preference. we just stay 2 nights - would stay even longer:). Nothing. It advertised towels and linen but 2 small hand towels and 2 small bath towels for a whole week were inadequate and for the price of the accomodation more towels would have been nice also 1 pillow each. Because we were not able to check-in before 11 pm we were charged 400 NOK. I totally disagree of the late check-in police. It appears that the most of the city is in a building stage. The road in front on the apartments for example is still being built. Didn't effect us once we meet the contact person and she showed us to the apartment!. WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A BETTER LOCATION. There was nothing I did not like, I just did not find anything particularly exciting. However, it was clean, functional and, when necessary, staff did engage. The neighbourhood left a lot to be desired - you had to walk through a very 'interesting' area to get there, and there was construction across the road from the apartment that started early and continued until late. The apartment was fine, but it was too warm, and you couldn't open the windows. The beds were too soft for my liking, but that's personal preference. The list with forbid dens. For example you have to put your shoes off. The beds are very soft and warm. In the kitchen there are not enough pans to make a proper meal. Not enough towels, or extra pillows or kitchen towels for apartment travellers who come from other countries. Equipment to have tea, coffee etc but no sachets to make anything unless you buy from market which you don't want to do being a international traveller. You can't take food items etc on planes. Uncomfortable bed, Cleaning staff were rude.

Arrivals after 23:00 are subject to an additional fee of NOK 450 per started hour after 23:00 and need to be agreed upon in advance. This service is subject to availability only. Weekly cleaning and change of bed linen and towels are included for stays longer than 10 nights. Final cleaning is included for all stays. Extra cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee. During Friday to Sunday, guests under the age of 25 can only check in if travelling as part of a family. If you book several apartments, please note that Bjørvika Apartments cannot guarantee that all apartments are located at the same address, building or floor. The maximum height to enter the car park is 2 metres high. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
