It was the perfect place to be used as base for exploring Svalbard: cozy, warm, nice staff, clean, excellent breakfast, gourmet restaurant, with a great view over Longyearbyen...for sure, a great hotel at 1000 km from NorthPole. The best choice in Longyearbyen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Really good breakfast. Cosy lounge with soft leather sofas, free Internet and 24h tea/coffee.
