The staff was wonderful. Our refridgerator had a problem but they came within minutes to correct. We blew a fuse at 5 in the morning and again there in minutes to fix. Access to the hotel facilities was great too. But the staff is fantastic. There to help you and so friendly. Loved it. Location and luxury. Apartment furnishings were good quality, but not luxurious. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Minor problems with the room were corrected immediately (burned out light bulb, lack of a wine corkscrew). all reviews »
I stayed in one of the newly-renovated apartments for 10 days in August2008. Many of the other apartments were still being renovated. Therenovated apartments are a huge improvement over the old-styleapartments. The new apartments have hardwood floors, air conditioning,brand new furniture, cordless phones, and flat-screen TVs. Very nice,modern, and stylish.the newly remodeled apt. the location. The appartment had a washing machine which was great. location, kitchen facilities. The apartments were renovated and are very comfortable. Location. Privacy.The tv stations sucked. The fitness center was a disappointment. It was small and not well equipped.Once again, no instructions on how to use the in-room washer. I had tocall housekeeping to get laundry detergent (it is supposed to be inthe room for free), and the new air conditioning failed mid-waythrough my stay. The appartment was difficult to cool down. However this is a very minor point.apartments recently refurbished and they came to work on the apartment when we were in it. Wireless interenet toooo expensive. Very poor selection of television channels available to English speaking guests.There was constant construction going on during my stay. The fire alarm went off several times due to the construction and had no way to silence the alarm. Very annoying and frustrating! Made it difficult to relax or sleep.

Restaurant Reflet specialises in French cuisine and is open from 17.30-22.00 for lunch and dinner.
Bedouin Restaurant Shibli provides Middle Eastern Cuisine and has no fixed opening times. A reservation for the Bedouin restaurant Shibli is necessary.
Winter Garden is open for a royal breakfast buffet and/or lunch buffet. Breakfast is served from 06:30-10:30.

-Arriving at the 'Watergraafsmeer' intersection, follow the 'A10 Zuid/Den Haag' signs. After a few kilometres, take the 'S112' exit. Then follow the 'Centrum' and 'S112' signs.
-Drive along the Gooiseweg until you get to Amstel Station (visible to the left at a distance).
-Make a quarter circle around the Prins Bernhardplein roundabout, then turn right into the Wibautstraat.
-Follow this street until the junction with the Mauritskade (S100), where you will see the Wibauthuis on your right.
-Then turn left and cross the river Amstel over the Torontobridge. After this, the route is the same as for 'By car from Utrecht'.
By foot from Central Station (10 minutes);
-Take the main exit and walk directly over the square. After you cross Prins Hendrikkade you will find yourself on the Damrak.
-Walk along this street until you get to Dam Square. You will see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to your left.
By tram from Central Station (5 minutes);
-From the square in front of the station you can take tramlines 4,9,16,17,20,24 or 25.
-All of these trams stop at De Bijenkorf, a department store on Dam Square.
