The staff (thomass) were very friendly, the room we had was excellent,massive bed and really cool. Id recomend this to everyone, very centrallocation as well. room, sight, central location, friendly staff, price. Staff were very friendly also very helpful.Great location. Very convenient location near the Central Station. Being on the edge of the red light district was not a problem. Free use of the hotel's computer was very helpful.

But the lady during the weekends could usesome training and lessons on basic hygiene. This happened more then 5times each morning.the hotel was very basic but was overall clean. gd 4 a 3 star however the shower room didnt smell too fresh!!!!. Room was dark because of low energy bulbs and view was a brick wall from our window.Small rooms, no iron in room, no kettle or tea / coffee in room. better breakfast breads, the rest was fine. size of room. The hotels rooms is too small. expensive for what you get compared to Canada, but well priced for Amsterdam. Prices didn't fluctuate greatly depending on day of week. Rooms are very small. it was nothing that i didnt like. shower screen needed fixing. poor breakfast, not very good condition of facilities, judging by room - would not rate this hotel as 3-stars. Breakfast time should extended till 12.00 so you are in amsterdam , we are talking about night life.broken stuff better be replaced or fixed. the room was awful, it was like a dungeon with no natural light, there was a window but it faced directly into another room (apprx. three feet away). had to remember to pull the curtain before turning on the light. we asked about another room but it would have cost more,. no kettlel in the room. We had a room on the front and it was very noisy. There was no double glazing to reduce the noise. Also the room was a little small with the bed pushed up in one corner. The Batroom was clean but some tiles were broken and the shower area was a little stained. The sink drained away very slowly and we reported it to the reception but nothing was done about it.First of all: the price! It's totally overrated. 75 € is the maximum I would pay for that kind of room, not 150 € !!!! And I would expect more confort for that price. Check out time: 11 o'clock. Lift is very narrow but at least, there is a lift. small room. poor breakfast. do not have a toaster. not value for money. Odd shape of hotel and uneven surface and staircase arrangement. Very poor 'economy' hotel. Poor value for money.Room under the roof got extremely hot, with a tiny window opening only by 10 cm it was impossible to get it cool down in the night. Phone in the room was broken, when I came back into the hotel the next day staff claimed that it was fixed - but it wasn't. Reception hall was always full of smoke because staff was smoking there. So called "orange juice" was the only choice at breakfast. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody! I had no window in my room! And no air conditioner! The room is real oven!. all.
