This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at The Red House and it was just as good as the first time. Someone from The Red House came to pick us up from the airport and was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. This was a great way to start the holiday. When we arrived at the Red House, we discovered that we had been upgraded to a huge room with balcony and split over 2 floors. This was a very pleasant surprise. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities, including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back. Stongly reco. The Red House is simply a fantastic place to stay. The staff, without exception, are friendly, helpful and very serviceminded. To the point where you could compare it with any 5 star hotel anywhere in the world. I would specially like to point out Abdel in the reception who never mentioned the word "no" in 7 days! Facilities are excellent and very charming with a nice pool and a great restaurant. Add complimentary transfers and walking distance to all mayor attractions. I will come back!. The Red House was lovely, clean, in a beautiful setting, and convenient to the medina. The hotel employees were friendly and extremely helpful. My friend and I had just spent 5 days in Casablanca for a business trip, and we only had two days (one night) to spend in Marrakech. Having climbed Mount Toubkal for 11 hours the Red House was absolutely perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner and 3 days stay to recover! Very atmospheric restaurant in ornate Moroccan style, serving lovely food. Beautiful pool and gardens. Extremely good experience, everything in Moroccan style with much dignity. The hotel was in a nice area and an easy walk to the main square. Room was superb as was the location of the hotel, a real sanctuary but close enough to the main sights. Excellent clean and friendly hotel, colonial house beautifully decorated the two receptionist Abdul and Cevat were very helpful. The staff were attentive and frendly.there goal was to make your stay pure luxury. The room was like a home from home. Fascinating history and culture. Great temperatures, fun markets, exciting excursions to the Atlas Mountains. Excellent hotel. Superb staff. Very friendly. Absolutely amazing hotel........ Nothing. Not a criticism, but an observation, that this is not a hotel for people who come to Marrakech to party all night. It does provide easy access to the Medina clubs if you wish, but is itself in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. it was a bit noisy with traffic at times but got used to it. Unfortunately the hotel suffers from road noise so the garden not as peaceful as it might be. Pillows could do with replacing as a bit lumpy. The air con wasn't that effective but the temperatures when we were there were exceptional. Nothing!. The swimming pool had no stair nor steps for access. Fairly old property. Although efforts have been made to renovate but the age shows. Air Conditioner did not work, bathroom ( fitted with excellent, new bathtub and massage shower) but leaked heavily. All good for us. Its difficult to stay healthy because the country's hygiene is of a different standard. We found it difficult to find good food at a reasonable price. Ordered room service food, wasnt the best.......
