Location was perfect. Near to the city center and to the marketplace. Easy to get a cab near to the train station but make sure to negotiate. Would recommend to check out wikitravel. Clean rooms and first day cookies as a welcome in our room including a bottle of water. Breakfast is ok but nothing special make sure to eat some Moroccan pancakes. They are delicious. The staff were helpful when one of us had a health problem. The breakfast is pretty good. Convenient location in the newer part of Marrakech.

Clean room, has necessary facilities close at hand ie spa, gym, bar with live sounds, club and the fact that it has a Thai/jap restaurant was an added bonus. Location - the room is confortable. clean. Newer hotel, modern. Taxi is super expensive when you order it via the hotel. We informed for a drive to the airport and this was (200 dirham = 20 euro). You can go to the train station (2 min walk) to get a taxi for 50 dirham = 5 euro. It was also strange that there was no iron in the room and that we had to pay for it. It was quite expensive (60 dirham = 6 euro). Price of taxis booked by hotel. Customer service was poor. The breakfast is not up to the Hotel's standard . Could be much better than it is. Nothing. nothing. Not enough choice in room-service. Not too much to complain. nothing. Attitude of doorman. He was rude to me and my guest. Brekfast. There was a workers protest against the hotel before n during my stay. What would've been good hospitality would be to offer customers a room away from the action. The drum beats and alarms raised by the protesters was an annoying distraction if you were wanting a bit of rnr in your room. There was a couple of male receptionists that could've been more friendly and could do with a reminder in how to deliver good professional customer service etiquette. A smile goes a long way. Service is really bad, food not great, spa is really bad. The front desk overcharged us since they claimed that they never received our cancellation from letsbookhotel.com even when we showed they the e-mail confirmation. Hotel staff is way under trained and out to get every dime they can from you. Nothing they do us at their expense. Have to pay for wifi in the room and it's only good for one device. Next time I will stay at the Sofitel for sure. Breakfast is the same every morning and not very good.
