The riad is very beautiful (with an amazing floor of blue and white Fez tiles) and it's got the perfect location right off of the main street in the medina. The staff was excellent, helping us find an English-speaking tour guide when we wanted one and giving us a detailed run-through of the major sites in Fez when we arrived. And the food is just amazing. We had two dinners there, both completely fabulous (and huge!), and the breakfasts are similarly gigantic and delicious.

Had a sense that the French women who own the place cater for the European market as everything is quoted in Euros. This is a little disconcerting when you are not from Europe and are not familiar with the currency. The dinner was very overpriced and was not very good at all. Our driver was not invited in when he came to collect us for our 4 day tour which was embarrassing for us and in contrast to usual Moroccan hospitality. Hard to find, but so is everything else in the medina. Bathroom not as clean as it could be (hairs everywhere), relatively expensive compared to other riads. shower. Just get a guide or accept the staff's offer to help you find it. It's Fez afterall.
