  We wanted something central and at a reasonable price. I think we got what we expected. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the centre of Guadalajara (University Square) and buses run right past the door for us$ 0.50. The metro is three blocks away. The area may seem somewhat dowdy, (we arrived quite late at night when only the bars were open), ... what people say » but it's a typical blue-collar Mexican neighbourhood. We felt it was safe and didn't feel nervous walking about at any time. The whole place is very c - This is the house of a woman and her two daughters, so it feels very cozy and friendly. At the same time, however, there is plenty privacy and I never felt like I was intruding. I received lots of helpful advice and directions from the woman who runs the place; very knowledgeable about (and enamored of) the town and environs. It seems to me there are brand new bathrooms, kitchen, fixtures, everything! I couldn't believe how new, clean, and inviting the place was. Wi-fi worked better in living r

  Great option if you are looking for a low budget place to sleep in Guadalajara. The hostel had everything we needed, even a very big kitchen that was really well equipped so we cooked a lot of times. The rooms are big, clean (really important) and beds are really comfortable. The staff is really kind and willing to help you with, Alex helped us fi... what people say » nd a flight ticket to Germany and even walked with us to an agency to search for the information. We were 100% happy with this choice and will for sur - I was there for 2 nights and it was a great experience. The price you pay per night is really cheap and the beds and facilities are comfortable enought. The location is perfect because Chapultepec area has a lot of bohemian and night life, i felt safe. If you want to go to historic downtown there is a bus in the corner of the hostel thats takes you there only for 6$ pesos!!!

  The location was excellent and we would stay there again just for this fact. Rooms and facilities were typical of a budget hostel. The staff were very friendly and happy to help us as we struggled with Spanish. Other guests were also very friendly. - The host make you feel like you are at home
