  This hotel is a kind of "posada", really nice! 100% mexican style. All the staff have been really kind with me, it is like to be at home. I had room nr. 12, just in front of the pool, very quiet place, seems to be in a colonial house! Good breakfast (included), no dinner, only snacks. It is 250 mts far from Calle Juarez (the main avenue of Tlaquep... what people say » aque). For me is the best "mexican style hotel" in Guadalajara! Try it! Laundry is free, Internet also. - The hotel was architecturally very pleasing to the eye. The colors were happy, the murals tastefully done and the plants are soothing, making us feel very warm and comfortable. The staff was exceptional. One of the perks was off street valet private parking. We had a wonderful stay and we look forward to staying there again. We recommend this to anyone staying in Tlaquepaque.

  I chose this Hotel because I wanted to stay at a historical -looking place. It was just what I expected. The interior is beautiful. I really liked the high ceilings. I requested a room with a balcony and got it no problem. The room was huge and bath was spacious. Staff was helpful. With gym, pool, restaurant and bar onsite I could of spent my whol... what people say » e day there. The location was perfect walking distance to most points of interest. At check out staff helped us out with a map and directions to where - Everything about this hotel was done well...the decor is outstanding, and everything was beautifully maintained. Lots of atmosphere, including the pleasant sounds of he fountain in the lobby atrium and soft piano music (live!) even at breakfast. Very good breakfast buffet and menu, and delicious dinner...even vegetarian.

  We wanted something central and at a reasonable price. I think we got what we expected. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the centre of Guadalajara (University Square) and buses run right past the door for us$ 0.50. The metro is three blocks away. The area may seem somewhat dowdy, (we arrived quite late at night when only the bars were open), ... what people say » but it's a typical blue-collar Mexican neighbourhood. We felt it was safe and didn't feel nervous walking about at any time. The whole place is very c - This is the house of a woman and her two daughters, so it feels very cozy and friendly. At the same time, however, there is plenty privacy and I never felt like I was intruding. I received lots of helpful advice and directions from the woman who runs the place; very knowledgeable about (and enamored of) the town and environs. It seems to me there are brand new bathrooms, kitchen, fixtures, everything! I couldn't believe how new, clean, and inviting the place was. Wi-fi worked better in living r

Even the gardener was friendly and warm.
