Location - 5 minutes to Zocalo but yet quiet, which is hard to find in the old town Staff - extremely helpful and quick in addressing any issues/questions Rooms - large and very clean, the linens feel new. Beds are comfortable, though might be a bit hard for some. I had the best sleep in a week at this hotel Patio - clean and quiet, good for breakfast or evening cup of tea or something stronger 2 cafés right next to the Casa if you'd like any specialized coffee drinks. Food is everywhere! I.
all reviews » The location is great. You just walk outside and you are facing a museum. The police station is next to the museum giving me the secure feeling. The hostel is beautiful. Extremely clean. We stayed in room 5, it has two rooms and a very large bathroom. Great for mom traveling with two young men. Staff was excellent in providing us with tourism ideas. Love, love the garden area. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is far beyond my expectation. Comfortable beds, very spacious rooms, quiet street, a nice garden patio, and a lot of other facilities like a TV room. I wouldn't mind staying there for several months!. Big building with lots of charm and extra s like tvroom f.e.. Location is in hinstoric centre, very friendly english speaking family, we had a huge room for 2 persons (room 14). Price was budget but the place didn't feel that way. The family who run this hostel are all, polite and welcoming. The hostel itself is in an excellent location. It is the cleanest and most spacious hostel I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend staying here. The staff is really really nice, even those who speak a little English did their best to be of help The rooms are basic but finely furnished The terrace is amazing, especially to have breakfast. Location was excellent if you want to get to know downtown mexico city and two blocks from the Metrobus that goes to the airport. Staff was great!. It was extremely central and the staff were amazing. The building itself was beautiful, a historic colonial building, quite stunning. And It's located at center of the city and convenient. Charming courtyard with birds, helpful staff and great location. Rooms can get cold during winter time Breakfast is very light - bread and some jams, peanut butter and Nutella, and coffee. But it's still good to start the day. Bathroom does not have electric outlets. Outlets are located in rooms in out if range locations. Don't care for what I call the peek a boo Window in the bathroom. Had to be creative when it came to undressing to take my shower. Wi Fi only worked in the garden area near the office. Unable to use my laptop in my room though they advertise Wi Fi through out. Nothing!. Nothing. We didn't find the city itself that nice. The privacy might be improved with a courtain covering the glass above the door (you can see inside the rooms from upstairs). It was sad to see the canaries in their cage (More than 20 of them!). For the price and the length of our stay (3 days) you would expect somebody would clean the room and bathroom. The water temperature and pressure were a little cold and feable for my taste. In the bathroom sink took a long time for the water to go down. My room had a large window on the door and it only had a very thin net curtain. When my light was on people could see straight into my room which made me very uncomfortable. I therefore had to hang large scarves all down the window to make it more private. I had a shared bathroom via a communicating door to the next room,but when I went to use it I could not lock my door from the outside. The room was very basic, no table, chair or bedside light. Breakfast are just bread and drink. So it's better to eat outside. And you can find other place to eat easily near here. It's located center. Under this price, it's not ploblem.I Didn't expect they offer breakfast from the first. Breakfast could be slightly more varied and rooms have quite spartan equipment.
