  This was a very good Ryokan in Nara for a quite reasonable price as far as Ryokan pricing goes (the dinner and breakfast were worth more than $120, potentially $200 just for those two in some locations). It really was a great meal, and offset the price of the room. Breakfast is a sha - I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel New Wasaka. The staff has been really helpful since my arrival till even after I checked out. Especially, this hotel has several English-speaking staff and made my stay much easier. The food is excellent and good value for money. The Kaseiki comes with many Japanese small dishes, fresh sashimi and yummy beef shabu. Location is convenient too. 10 minute walk from Kintetsu station and walkable to Todaiji. This places offer very cool traditional Japanese rooms too

  Simply amazing guesthouse which offers a very unique experience in a 100 year old house. setting a new benchmark in my opinion on a hostel. The location is excellent for visiting Nara park and temple locations. The young couple that runs the guesthouse speaks great English and personify the high sense of Japanese service. Very well located , they also rent bicycle at very low price and advise you special things to see to make the best of your trip. Even when they are fully booked they work miracles to find you a nice place to stay.

  We like Comfort hotels in Japan. They are very good value for money. This one in Nara has very good breakfast included in the price and very good location - walking distance to some main turist spots. - An easy and comfortable hotel close to transport with friendly helpful staff and a good cooked buffet breakfast.

  I like the fact that when we had some last minute change of plans, the receptionist helped us instantly in cancelling the last night of our stay (we stayed for 5 nights) as we opted to go to another city for our last 2 days. After checkout, we were able to leave our bags, rent some bikes from the hotel, and bike around the city until our departure later that day. Great way to explore the city (although close to Nara park it gets a bit too crowded to ride the bike).
