The hotel and staff were lovely and I would happy stay there again and recommend it to others. I loved that Einstein had stayed there and played the piano in the tea room. Beautiful gardens surround it. A beautiful old building with so much history, my room was in the new wing and was just as beautiful as the older parts.Much nicer than the picture of bedroom shown below. Excellent service to match the beautiful surroundings and the gorgeous hotel itself. The grandeur of the old hotel is hard to look past.

Guests with a meal plan are asked to indicate their dinner selection from a choice of a Japanese-style dinner or a French-style dinner at the time of booking. Japanese-style room cannot accommodate an extra bed. Please note that the property will go through renovation work from 15 March 2017 between 09:00 - 17:00. During this period, guests may experience noise and other minor disturbance between 10:00-15:00. Some rooms in the Main Wing will be unavailable during this period, while the New Wing will remain unaffected. Please also be informed that during the renovation period, check-in will be from 15:00 and the check-out time will be 10:00. Construction staff will be on site during the renovation period.
