An excellent hotel. Room was exactly what I had requested, quiet and with a view. The hotel is located just out side the main entrance to the JR station. Staff was friendly and spoke adequate English. Wish I could have stayed longer. Kanazawa is a bit off the usual tourist circuit which is to me a positive (no Shinkansen link yet). The price, the very helpful staff, the breakfast, the dinner in Edel restaurant. The fact it is opposite the Japan Rail station. The fact that Eriko got me sandwiches for my early train departure(because I left before breakfast started).This left me very impressed indeed.
