It is the only hotel in Venice that has its own private car park, available on request. Each room is elegant and decorated in a traditional, Venetian design. The staff was extrememly helpful. All spoke excellent English. The breakfast was also top notch. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Note: This visit was in the month of March, so no comment can be made about the comfort of the room in the summer months. The hotel was excellent and the location superb. Located right across the bridge from the train station and next to the vaporetta station we were able to see and do everything with little effort. The room was very nice and continental breakfast fresh and good.

I thought I was staying in the hotel itself. We were put in the annex to the hotel about 100 m away at the back of a building on the grand canal which meant a walk in the rain/cold to the hotel for breakfast. I was not aware of this when I booked. further there was no provision to make tea/coffee/hot choclate at night and there was really no where close buy to buy such things. Given the annex location consideration should be given to an electric jug/cups small fridge in room.Shower is really small. The hotel was under-staff, the staff that was available were not very helpful, breakfast was almost nothing, bathrooms were very small, heaters were not working properly and not really convenient for those arriving by train.

Situated between Venice and the mainland, the hotel is the synthesis of this meeting with one door in the street and another one on the water.

From Piazzale Roma, you enter a small courtyard, surrounded by a lobby which is full of flowers and can be distinguished by the fountain sound. This is the ideal place to relax during the hottest periods of the year.

St. Mark's Square - (1.5km) - watch the world go round from the stunning vantage point of this pretty square.

Basilica of San Marco - (1.5km) - tour this architectural splendour.

Bell Tower of St. Mark's Square - (1.5km) - climb the tower and marvel at the majestic views.

Murano Island - (3.2km) - visit this pretty neighbouring island.

Room information details

All the rooms have been decorated in a traditional Venetian style, with wall fabrics, fitted carpets, Venetian-style flooring, parquet, exposed beams and Murano glass chandeliers

The hotel also has an annex, located 100 metres from the main building, with 12 large standard rooms (of approximately 25 m²). All these rooms are decorated in soft and pastel colours, furnished with cherry-wood and decorated with wall fabrics.

From Marco Polo Airport (10km from Venice):
There are frequent connections with Piazzale Roma by bus (number 5), taxi or water-taxi (motoscafo). Once you have arrived in Piazzale Roma, you will see the hotel on the Grand Canal side (it is easily visible from the sides of Piazzale).

By Train:
From Santa Lucia Train Station:
Outside Santa Lucia train station, take waterbus number 1 or 82 for Piazzale Roma. The stop is 30 metres from the hotel.

By Car:
- From the exit of the A4 motorway:
- Follow directions for Venice.
- Once you have arrived in Piazzale Roma, the hotel can be found on the Grand Canal side (it is easily visible from the sides of Piazzale).
