An excellent central location to base yourself for all the sights inRome, a small 10-room residence with a very personal service, only a 5-minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain, 15minutes from the Pantheon and a relaxing 30-minute walk to the Colisseumor Vatican. Hotel staff very helpfull. This hotel is located in a car restrictedarea so this means much much less trafic and noise. It is a very cleanand safe area of the city because of the proximity of the parlement andall the Big Name of luxury fashion stores arround. Highly recommandable.
all reviews » The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Within walking distance of all the main attractions, shops and bars. The staff were always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was small but intimate. I felt very relaxed in there. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, it represents good value for money when compared to other central Rome hotels.the hotel is a small, private and very comfort residence. The location near the Piazza di Spagna is perfect for exploring the entirety of old Rome by foot (there is also a subway nearby but we did not use it). The only problem is the insuficient acoustic isolation - between the rooms as well as between the rooms and the corridor. For those who are particularly sensitive to normal human noise, it may sometimes constitute a problem,. Expensive but worth the price. Most of the rooms are located near to the reception or to the breakfast room and the walls are quite thin so sleeping in is not an option. We bought earplugs.As is typical of European hotels, the room was small and the bathroom even smaller. It is difficult for a tall guest to sit on the toilet without turning his body to fit his legs. Our room was too small for a triple and the sink too big for an en-suite. But these were only small problems. The rooms are different in size and level of comfort and there was no opportunity to clarify this and choose conditions before arrival during booking which was done 3 months in advance. It was a bit awkward getting the buggy up and down the steps. noise from the street, no elevator. Wireles internet not working and air conditioning in room poor. Shower and sink were broken Aircondition doesnt work well. We had little peace and quiet at night. Sounds carry both from inside and from outside which staff would be unable to control.We've booked a room for 4 persons and were disappointed to see that two beds were extra-beds. This was not what we were expecting from the hotel picture on booking.com. 78 year old mother had to climb 3 flights of stairs. very noisy street outside. noise early in the morning, room size. Basic facilities, No sound insulation where you can hear staff and clients in the corridors sometimes at very "unusual" hours...Tiny shower cubicle and we think we've got some of the bigger rooms. Fold out beds for our children were not very comfortable. Room was directly next to reception and we were woken every day by noise of people talking or printers operating. We did not complain as we felt it unlikely that an alternative quad room would be available.
