Gambero was centrally located in the heart of Rome making it very easy to just walk outside and start the day. We spent long hours just walking around and stumbling upon amazing historical monuments. I think it's safe to say that finding reasonably priced housing in central Rome is not an easy task so I'd say that Gambero, though not the nicest place I've ever stayed, served its purpose for us satisfactorily. all reviews »
Superb location, friemdly staff and very clean. Great Apt for family with one or two young children. Real good value for money. Ms Silivia, the Manager, is very kind and helpful.

the location was spectacular, and having a kitchen made the atmosphere very welcoming and home-like.

The location was fantastic.
Central location.
The wifi connection hardly worked in our room, to get a good signal we had to sit in the hallway. The room we booked was pretty oddly shaped and wasn't quite tall enough to fully stand up in some parts of it.
- we could hear the neighbor next door from the bedroom.
despite the perfect cordiality of the staff (very nice people), in the case of emergency (e.g. electricity out, or locking yourself out), they are NOT available easily, and the emergency number NOT updated.
We axpected to see the flat as we saw at the foto, but we found very poor similarity between the foto and the real flat.
There was no ceiling in the bathroom, only the roof;)))..
The old lift, the stairs to get to the lift, the furniture outdated.
Lift wasn't working
Second bedroom wasn't a bedroom but 2 beds in a corridor
Bathrooms smelled a bit.
