Decor - modern and appealing Breakfast was an added bonus, not normally expected in an apartment. Excellent location. Rome is a great place to visit,we found the Romans friendly people but bad drivers(some insults were transmitted),having rented bikes made all the difference to visit the city,amazingly few people cycle around,the food is great and the historical mambojambo is absolutely brilliant,staying in the middle of a city does mean you get woken by loud Italian men in the morning.....and they say women talk!!!....duh... Don't forget to take enough cash......it is expensive.....
all reviews » The location was great, in the heart of historic Rome but it could be quite noisy as a consequence. The rooms are nicely decorated and equipped and the cleaning staff come in daily and are lovely and very helpful. Location. Location was ok types, not so great...we stayed at apartment from this owner - named as Navona. Details on breakfast were no clear, especially the time. Entrance and staircase smells like an old cellar (not bad but you should know). Limited TV channels. Where we stayed was nice and in the centre,the caretaker was a nice guy but promised to get the electrical and hot water problem solved every day.....parole,parole,parole......after 4 nights 2 teenage daughters hate cold water.......stiff nipples are fine...... The service was appalling; breakfast brought to your room was no longer brought to your room, you had to go to a local cafe. The wifi never worked over a 4 night stay, the heating didn't work properly, there were dirty towels when I arrived, the toilet seat was broken and they don't supply soap. Tommaso, the manager, didn't respond to emails and I had to ring repeatedly to get him to do anything. He agreed to refund one night for all the problems but I'm still waiting...... Not available at check in for 2 hours. Shower was just a drip had to wash in sink. Breakfast was a pack of dry biscuits and no drink for my daughter. Terrible Service: I was refused check-in after 8pm, because the owner was "out of Rome", and had to look for a hotel at the last minute, with my 7-month pregnant wife. And I only managed to check-in on the following day, because I accidentally ran into the cleaning staff outside the apartment building. Unbelievable - worst experience ever with a hotel!. Very rude and stubborn owner. There is no one above him.. You cannot complain about this person. He feels like he can cheat the world through his talks. He does not even show his willingness to understand the problems unless you threat him of POLICE...One whole day got wasted and we had to stay at the apartment...one of the neighbor in this navona apartment was so fed up with his foolish excuses that he was about to punch this owner...not a good experience...
