Near to the congress center, easy to go to town. Nice pub in the neigbourhood. Good help to get in the reception. Helpful and nice people at the hotel. Everything, especially the hotel staff!. excellent location, just minutes from the station and from the main tourist attractions, the hotel felt very comfy, I felt at ease there. The day staff was extremely friendly and helpful. He followed up on every detail.

The day staff was very helpful and happy to help with sightseeing etc. Since we took a side trip during our visit, we had two different rooms. The first ws very charming and very well maintained. The day time front desk guy was extremely helpful and friendly. He spoke very good English. The breakfast was also very filling.the location of the hotel is very convenient. the decoration inside is quite stylish and nice. the hotel staff is really helpful. reception staff friendly and suggested things to visit and how to get there. Very clean, nice and good service. location is good, easy to go everywhere, no wireless in room is a little un convenient and no table in room. The room is very large and cleany. The breakfast is good and is very central. Booked all my tickets for the museums as requested, Good location. The hotel had good location and really friendly staff. The satff is friendly.i asked for hot water for noodles at night and Iwas not disappointed..location is not too bad either.in the money Ipaid it is not bad deal at all..though I would look for more optionsnext time.. location, value for money. You could hardly stay in the shower area and could not sit right on the toilet. However the bed was good and we were lucky to have airco in the room (it was around 40 degrees during our stay!). The hotel was positioned really well: only 5 minutes walk from the Market square!. convient. The guy at the reception was nice. no elevator and having to lug my suitcase to the second floor was not pleasant, it was a tad noisy but still well suited for me. how close to the morning breakfast area the room was, making it difficult to sleep when people were loud. The second room that we stayed in was not as well maintained but any issues that we brought up to the day staff was quickly remedied. There was a lot of noise outside our room at night including a very loud dog.The toilette is combined with the shower cabin. It's a very interesting engineering decision but not very comfortable for living. the site did not say it was on 2nd floor and there was no lift. the cleaning/domestic staff was very noisy quite early in the morning. bathroom was a bit too compact. breakfast, only bread and pie. The bathroom is good, but the shower is not separated from the rest of the space. Is kinda strange. No elevators.I stayed in a room facing the street and it was very noisy. The streetthat is busy till late at night so request a room away from the streetif you are a light sleeper. The bathroom was small and it was difficult to take shower so that everything in the bathroom wouldn't be wet.The bed wasn't very comfortable either and there was a lot of noise coming from the street.Hotel on second floor -no lift but 56 steps. No cooked breakfast which "buffet breakfast" suggested. Regrettably you cannot use the elevator that is obviousely not comfortable when you have the lugguge. The hotel rooms are too cramped.bathrooms and showers almost have noplace allowed to move and rinse.NO Lift to the 2nd floor where the hotelis situated is an extremely bad experience.we had to carry26 - 28 kgluggage ourselves..quite a pain !! it is good for stay for backpackers only !. window could not be opened. room rather dark. Breakfast (poor), bed (very bad), bathroom (very small), heater (central controlled, time to turn on). We were leaving early and the man at the front desk was not really willing to let us pick some croissants and other things for breakfest although his collaegue told us the day before this would not be of any problem (breakfast time started at 8 AM and we left at 7 AM). This should not be a problem because we had paid for it!. room to far away from wifi hotpot. it is too noisy. There is no elevator and the hotel is on the second floor, the breakfast was poor and the room was not that clean, there is no space between the toilet and the shower.

By car
From the south: take the Firenze South exit of the A1 highway and follow the indications to Firenze centro. Once you arrive at the traffic light at the end of Lungarno del Tempio, you will have to turn right. Drive towards piazza Beccaria, then along Viale Antonio Gramsci and Viale Giacomo Matteotti, until you reach piazza della Libertà. Turn into via Lorenzo il Magnifico, and at the first traffic light turn left into via Poliziano. Go straight down via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria until you reach piazza Indipendenza square. Go past the square towards the Santa Maria Novella railway station, and turn left in via Guelfa. Go two blocks and then turn left (via Santa Reparata). Finally take the first street on the left, via XXVII Aprile, for 100 meters. The hotel is at number 9 (black), on the left-side of the road.
From the north: take the Firenze Nord exit of the A1 highway and follow the indications to Firenze centro. Once you reach the end of Viale Francesco Redi, turn right and then left into via Guido Monaco. Drive to the end of via Guido Monaco, and turn left into via Fratelli Rosselli. After the tunnel going under the railway, follow the Viali di Circonvallazione ring-road going around the Fortezza da Basso. Continue down viale Lavagnini. When you come to the first traffic light, turn right into via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria and continue driving until you reach piazza Indipendenza square. Go past the square towards the railway station and turn left in via Guelfa. Go two blocks and then turn left (via Santa Reparata). Finally take the street on the left, via XXVII Aprile, for 100 meters. The hotel is at number 9 (black), on the left-side of the road.

By train
The Santa Maria Novella railway station is approximately 400 meters away from the hotel. On foot its a 10 minutes' walk: upon leaving the station, take the first right exit. Reach the Mc Donald's fast food in front of you and turn left in via Nazionale. After 300 meters you will reach piazza Indipendenza square: turn right in via XXVII Aprile. By taxi it takes around 5 minutes.

By airplane
The Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport is approximately 8 km away. You can reach the hotel by taxi or by the Airport Shuttle bus which connects the airport with Santa Maria Novella railway station. Once you get to the station follow the above-said directions.
