Souvenir Maya is near the Accademia Museum with the original David statue, and 600 metres from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Rooms are compact and clean. All rooms at the Maya Souvenir have a wash basin, an LCD TV, and a fridge, and are cooled with a fan. Some rooms are en suite, some feature a shared bathroom on the same floor, and some feature a shower cabin in the room and a tea/coffee maker. The apartment is located in a separate buidling, just next door, and comes with a fully equipped kitchenette. The Maya is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a historic building. The Fortezza da Basso Congress Centre is a short walk away.

The second room we got was spacious and comfortable. close tot the center, friendly staff. The first room we got was cramped and small, the shower leaked, and the bathroom light was faulty and kept us awake all night! Not great value for money! But management did kindly move us to a much bigger, better room with minimal fuss. it was dirty, de shower didn't work, no good bed.
