We had a great stay at The Emily. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and refreshing. When arrived a few hours early and were able to get into our rooms right away. The rooms were beautiful with clean marble countertops and hard wood floors. There is a nice bar downstairs. The locations perfect as we walked into town and the main shopping area. The hotel is located along the beach walk way. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of more an 30 items to choose from.
all reviews » Emily's Hotel has a perfect location to visit Tiberias and the many places of interest around the Sea of Galilee. The hotel has a pleasant design, a bar, comfortable rooms with a small fridge a kettle and a flat screen tv, a swimming pool and a very kind and helpful staff. The food was superb, keeping the dietary Jewish rules even during Passover; there is a special Shabat elevator. The hotel was sparkling clean. Great welcome on arrival, friendly staff ready to advise on travel options (important for a sole traveller..), extensive buffet breakfast to cater for all tastes. good sized room with balcony overlooking the sea of Galilee. Free WiFi, pool, close to the city centre/restaurants and the sea/lake. As soon as we arrived we received a very warm and friendly welcome. The quality of the accommodation was excellent. The pool was superb, clean and refreshing. The breakfast buffet was again superb, giving plenty of choice for every taste. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. It is a new hotel in Tiberias. The rooms are clean and the staff professional and friendly. Close to the sea, stores and restaurants. All the rooms have balcony. The breakfast buffet is good with a lot of selections. At night, they have a buffet dinner. Good location, balcony with lake view, substantial and diverse breakfast and most of all -- spacious underground parking. In their climate it is very convenient when you don't have to cool a red-hot car before you can drive to lake Kinneret sights. The facility is new, the wifi is great, the staff are super friendly and professional, the balcony was quaint, the breakfast was fabulous with a great coffee machine, the shower and bathroom was big and luxurious, and the parking was safe and secure feeling. Night supper was good but breakfast was not all in all ok not more than that. We got a referral from the desk staff to go to The Tiberias Hot Springs. I really didn't like the hot springs. It only cost $10 to get in but it was crowded and over rated. I would not recommend it. As in other Israeli hotels, the air conditioner was too cold in common areas, to the point of being unpleasant. access to the pool is via the dining room so only available outside of meal-times. I'm sure this isn't an issue for most guests, who are spending time out and about visiting the sights rather than relaxing in the pool...... A very minor point in an otherwise excellent hotel. Nothing at all, will certainly return here!. At times, some of the staff seemed non-interactive, but this seems to be an Israeli trait, I found. If you take some initiative and pursue some conversation, usually the staff respond positively. Our room had been cleaned with a very strong anteseptic. The smell was strong for the first day. The only problem was the noise from the road in front. We had to leave. Not a lot of character, didn't enjoy the breakfast and especially the coffee in the morning. Would be good to have the option of proper turkish coffee. The balcony is used by actually 2 rooms, the parts are separated by small door. The beds are 2 beds put together easily slipping, doesn't suit to this level of hotel. No complaints. additional charge per person; it is common practise in the US to just book a room without paying for the number of person's in the room. The upcharge for a 2nd person was almost double the price of the room I booked. Breakfast buffet was poor quality. I would have liked a better selection of American style food. road noise, even with windows closed. Breakfast was quite messy because of families and children. The price. The breakfast could have low-fat items (like skim milk, 0% fat yogurt, fresh berries) and bigger coffee cups. They need to have complimentary filtered water in the lobby, some fruit, and some recommendations of places to go and see and places to eat. They also need to take the elevator light caps off and clean out all the dead bugs and dust. It's yuk. The restaurant was very dirty at breakfast, especially under the tables. The breakfast per se did not seem to be fresh at all. It seems they served the same food from the night before diner. Street Noise Over priced, poor quality evening meal. Tbe pool was small and in and not easy to get to - not near the kinneret and the parking under the hotel was difficult to get in and out - towels too few and too small - a little boring very few people good for an overnight stop but not a holiday - the dinning room was open to the kitchens.
