  I thought the staff at this hotel were most friendly and helpful. Theyordered taxi's for us and even booked a restaurant in the city as we didnot wish to eat in the hotel. The hotel room was well presented and clean with plenty of space. The TV had more than just the standard channels, with 2 music channels. We dined at the restaurant on two occassions - the food was gorgeous!! You also get complementary use of the fitness centre and swimming pool!!!

  Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. There was selection of dvd's to watch , air condition , well equiped kitchen and even sauna in the suite ! Balcony and special room with pc and even printer were there too. We had amazing st - We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Tea and coffee is available all day. And the breakfast is something else. There is secure car parking. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre, the RDS, the O2 and the Bord Gais Theatre. The bus from town stops outside.   The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.... what people say » I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and enhanced my enjoyment & preapartion for the Marathon. - Excellent location. Easy access by bus to downtown and airport. Excellent restaurants nearby - Indian, Cuban, Japanese, seafood and others. Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Excellent discount price offered for our 5 night stay. Would definitely stay here again when back in Dublin.

Donnybrook location is great -- bus stop a block away, and only 10 minutes north you're downtown, 10 minutes sout - Everything was fantastic, the staff went over and beyond what they were required to do.   The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks.   My friend and I arrived at around 10.20am, we were soaking wet from the morning downpour and there was a twin room ready, they checked us in straight away. The bar was lovely, great service and reasonably priced, tasty food. We went to Dublin for a concert, if we had to go again, we would def stay at the Mount Herbert Hotel again.
