I loved the attention to detail in providing you all the comforts of home. Apart from obvious things like kettle and tv, they have tea, coffe, sugar, washing up liquid and tea towels, full kitchen with dishwasher! washing machine, DVD player, soap and shampoo. This may sound trivial but if you've stayed at self catering apartments, you know what difference these little things make. Complex feels new and looks clean, beds and couches were nice and comfortable. Location is great as well, we did .
all reviews » The apartments were such a relaxing place to stay with our two little girls (1.5 years and 3.5 years). Little door stoppers were provided and the girls had a ball running from one room to the next. It was lovely to not have stairs. The apartments have been newly carpeted since we were last here and it was great to stay in a place with a fresh carpet smell. They were spotless. The staff were absolutely fabulous. Very pleasant and so used to dealing with young kids. The pool - the joy of staying. The apartments were great, very spacious and well equipped. Spotlessly clean on arrival. The utility room with washing machine was great as we had a small child, also the use of the dvd player and a well kitted out kitchen made it ideal for our break. Very home from home. Spacious family bathroom with toiletries provided. Master bedroom was a great size and the second bedroom would easliy house 3 children/adults. Delighted with our choice,close to both the brehon and the gleneagle for dinner/fa. The 2bedroom/bathroom apartments are incredibly spacious. The beds are super comfy and all the furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to be self-catering. My friends & I were extremely impressed with these apartments for the bargain price we paid. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also the staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Parking is available outside the apartments and there are lifts. Fantastic apartments, bread milk cereal butter etc in kitchen on arrival. nice big bathroom, lovely and warm. Full use of all the facilities of the hotel, without noise associated with functions. This is our 4th time staying here, will be returning for a 5th. Great base for exploring Killarney. Plenty of parking. The gleneagle river apartment were a great place to stay. The accommodation was excellent and it was wonderful to have so much space when travelling with children. I look forward to our return as we will definitely book these apartments for our next visit to Killarney. one of the best apparments i have stayed in . once u open the door for the first time and enter you just feel like your at home the heating was on an the brown bread and milk in the fridge makes you feel like you never left home . will be staying here again. The staff were very friendly the apartment was clean well stocked and very spacious. The location was ideal for our needs and it was great value for money I use letsbookhotel.com a lot there is no better website for accomadtion. The Apartments were very conveniently situated close to the hotel. The hotel have great food, entertainment in the evenings and you can also arrange trips around the Ring of Kerry etc at reception with discounts applicable. I liked the comfort and design and heat and luxury me the apartments it contained a washing machine a fridge and a microwave so ye didn't need to leave the apartments and we also had full use me the pool and jacuzzi. I could not fault these apartments. They are excellently laid out and spotless. They had provided bread, milk and cereal without being asked, which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely be back. The apartment was very spacious and very clean. the floor was very worn, which made the place look a little scruffy, but it was actually very well maintained. it was also very quiet and comffortable . We all have a great stay rooms were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful to us as my husband is in a wheelchair. We will b back to them again. The location and the environment was very nice. Apartment was very spacious , the kitchen well equipped. Nothing. Under floor heating was overbearing, it was on full when we arrived and I found it difficult to control so I switched it off! Some noise from the hallway but nothing you wouldnt have in a hotel. Nothing. fiddly shower, freeze or scald!. Nothing. What I didn't like apartments are directly behind the Brehon hotel yet ye had to in to the Gleneagle hotel to book in which I thought made on sense. You have to check out at 10am (hotel check out is 12pm!). a little worn looking, but it was so clean and comfortable that it was quickly forgiven. Could not say anything bad to say about them. There wasn't enough hot water in the main shower and the electric shower was very poor. Nothing. Had problem with hot water, staff were very helpful with same. I found a bid dark hair on the shower wall when we first arrived, I didn't complain but it was disgusting. The only thing was u hv to hv a car to get around as it was very quiet time of year. There was nothing to dislike. nothing. Nothing. No air con. i dont think there was enough entertainment in/for teens, room was small .not great bar menu. Asked for ground floor apt but didn't get it. Cot was not in apt on arrival, had to ring for it even though I had asked for that too. At pool, floats were out to play with between 11 and 1pm for kids. Next day they weren't there and we got 2 different reasons when we asked the attendants. Not sure what policy is?. Hot water did not work properly. Fuse kept blowing every time hot water was switched on. Staff were contacted several times about the same problem yet nothing was done to fix it. Rooms were too warm. nothing. the weather. no dislikes. stuffy and no AIR CON. the glass shelf over the wash hand basin makes it very awkward for a man to splash water on his face to shave. just remove the shelf or move it up to just under the mirror. noting. The cleaner came in the morning and walked into our apt, woke us up half an hour before check out to tell us we had to check out by 10. She came into our apt. again soon and was very unfriendly and arguing that we had to leave soon. Not well soundproofed, bed not comfortable, loud noise from water pipes. Dinner at the Flisk Glenneagle was a tastless industrial catering 3 course menu @ €20.
