We were given a very warm welcome from our host Joan as soon as we stepped in the door. We were also offered tea or coffee right away. The room was very clean. The Harp is in a great location, with walking access to Killarney town and on the road for Killarney's National Park and Ring of Kerry.The breakfast was excellent and Joan"s brown bread scones delicious! We will be recommending "The Harp" B&B to all our friends and family. Thank you again Joan for a delightful stay in Killarney!.
all reviews » Joan was great! Super nice and very accomodating even to being gluten free! It was nice being in a place as a solo traveler where there was a possibility to chat with other patrons of the harp if I wanted. There were also 2 pubs in close proximity and it was close enough to the city, but not too close, where it would be noisy. Highly recommend this place.If you are lucky enough to be reading this review... book this wonderful B&B now. You can only hope your search will find another as good as this one. The service, thoughtful assistance, breakfast meals, tea and baked goods were excellent! Great location only a short walk to the city center. Very satisfied with everything. The flowers,& the fact that for the first time in Ireland the proprietor took a credit card, tis no wonder that Ireland has problems even in some souvenir shops only cash was accepted (no tax paid). Everything! I agree with Teresa's message. Joan's hospitality is faultless. She is an amazing cook and gave us great ideas for sightseeing and restaurants. Will also recommend to all. Thanks Joan. Could have been closer to Killarney city centre and restaurants. However as we only stayed one night it was not really an issue. There is nothing to dislike!. Bedding in our room was a little old fashioned for our country's standards.
