I had mistakenly booked the wrong date online. However the staff were fantastic about it and simply changed the reservation. Very large, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast in the Morning was nice and clean (not too greasy) and once again the staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is in the centre of Galway making it ideal for getting to the main restaurant area in the evening. The bedroom was a good size, the bathroom facilities clean and in good working order. Breakfast was substantial and staff very helpful and polite.

Where the hotel was situated, was so handy to get around Galway City. It was central clean and warm. the room was generously proportioned and any service required was provided on time and with courtesy. great location (same block as train/bus station - 2 minute walk) nightlife, restraurants, food, beautiful footpath along water's edge. Conveniently placed, well handled even if old, helpful personnel... there even is free internet in the lobby.The convenience to the shops. Great location. Nice hotel in an ideal central location. TV small with bad reception. . Hard beds, bathroom stank of cigarette smoke, although it was a non-smoking room.No car park. We found it very cold in the room and the hall ways. Enterainment/dining areas very dingy. Yes, the location was beside a bus station which was very noisy in theearly morning and caused us to be awake before we intended to be. Thewindow was closed and still the noise of the engines was overpowering.As we were there for a weekend break this ruined any chance we had ofsleeping and so we did not consider it to be a great weekend break.We asked for a non smoking room, but it smelt smoke a lot. Parking. The room, bathroom, the whole hotel seemed old and musty. female receptionist un friendly, verging on rude. breakfast table and delph unclean.
