We stayed for the whole weekend with 2 kids both under 2. The room was very clean that we could let the youngest crawl round the floors without fear. 1st morning we had breakfast in our room 2 members of staff came with it, they were very polite. We were also on the forth floor but the way the windows were designed there was no fear for the kids. We will def be back soon. Well lit car park, (felt very safe returning late) Staff on reception duty morning/evening were very attentive to our requests. Waiters served dinner/wine/dessert/coffee with great professionalism, very pleasant, they are a great asset to any hotel. No need to look up other hotels for further visits to Galway city. Food was excellent.
all reviews » i requested a fourth floor room with a view of the bay which i got the room was beartiful . had carvery lunch it was beatiful . the bar was lovley homely alot of local people use it . The staff were very friendly and went out of their way on a few occasions to help us find places to go and get taxis. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in.fantastic value for money and my room was spacious and very tidy. Staff were so helpful and the food in the bar was so tasty and reasonably priced. Delighted to be the first guests to use refurbished room. Have stayed before and keep coming back for excellent service and staff!!. very relaxing.staff nice , bar food very good. had eaten in resyaraunt during my previous stay but found bar food better. it was very near the city!! the staff were lovely, residence bar was good crack after the club, rooms were lovely. I would have liked the TV to have a bigger sized screen. But that's only because I like to relax by watching TV. This is not a complaint. there was nothing wrong with the hotel !!!!!. A little far from town, but there is a bus and taxis. The corridors were quite noisy at night and early in the morning.I can't think of 1 bad point about the hotel. The only minor problem I had was with the extractor in the bathroom. Itdid not function.There was no football on the TV on Saturday afternoon. Room furniture was rather dated. Music in lounge. music in the bar was awful. ordered a meal in bar and got one of the starters served wrong.

At the 3rd roundabout, the Martin Roundabout, take the 1st exit (signposted Galway City East) and go straight through all traffic lights until you come to a 4th roundabout - take the 2nd exit (signposted Galway City) and Best Western Flannery's Hotel is on the right after GMIT.
