The newly refurbished executive floor. Very comfortable, quiet and well-decorated. Staff very friendly and helpfull, Preacher's bar cosy, good food and excellent service. staff very obliging, food fabulous, very clean fabulous decor in reception .....maybe rooms need a little updating. I found it pleasant, warm, comfortable, staff were very friendly and parking was not a problem.

There is just a query I have when we booked we got dinner and 2 breakfast. We had the set dinner but only one course and 2 drinks which we paid for after the meal. But when we checked out we noticed that we were charged €6 we dont know what we were charged for as we gave €20 for the 2 drinks which were btl of Corona and pint of heinken and told the waiter to keep the change. Difficult to find, local signage could be better. security card was poor and I had to get it re-programmed 4 times. There was a wedding there on Saturaday, and they took over the place when taking photographs. We nearly got pushed out of hte way while trying to have a quiet cup of coffee. It was not the hotel's fault, but the wedding guests, and especially the photographer, were extrremly rude., We were staying in the hotel as well and had every right to be there. They did not even say "excuse me". The front of the hotel was in a mess due to the refurbishment. only one spare electrical socket in the room. i paid for a stay of 2 nighsa dn 1 evening meal ...i already looked at the menu and speciiically asked was this where i eat for the meal..i was told yes..next morning i was charged for al a carte....and the meal i paid for was a set menu...no one had told me this...i was annoyed...there was a bus load of people trying to check out so i paid and the receptionist told me they would be intouch..still. Late night noise when the pubs emptied!. My main hot breakfast was brought to the table before I had finished my cereal. Stayed during reconstruction work being carried out and despite being told when checking in that work would only start at 9am the drilling started at 8.10am. Despite this I would recommend this hotel with its great facilities.The bar pricing was on he expensive side. Lift was too small and slow. Pressed 5 but it stopped at 1 then 6.I had only one meal (breakfast). When I came for breakfast at the starting time of 7am, staff were not ready. No natural daylight in breakfast room. Breakfast was satisfactory but coffee was horrible. did not think it was four star, tv selection poor. Value for money very poor , breakfast in bed cold.
