Warm welcome. I asked about breakfast and because I had an early start the next day the lady said she with the next 40 mins bring up to the room a tray of cereal, fruit, juice and cheese sandwich so that I could have some breakfast. There was a fridge in the room so the jug of milk and one of juice and the sandwich was kept fresh until the morning. Returning that day I found that the lay had already thought ahead and placed again a tray of similar food including a yoghurt for breakfast. It was .

Michael and Inta were really attentive! The location is perfectly located for local restaurants, buses to Dublin, and shopping. Secure parking. the staff was very friendly, and our room was ready when we got there, the breakfast was lovely and you could have more if you wanted to,. Very good breakfast, rooms were up-to-date / renovated, Wifi worked very well, directly in the city center of Dundalk. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The landlord made sure I got gluten free bread at breakfast. Large bedroom it had ,a fridge,microwave,large screen tv,nice soft beds and powerfull shower. The staff in the Guest House were very friendly and it was very central to the town. Personal was really nice and the breakfast was one of the bests ever. Love the staff here and the place was spotless, would recommend. The size of the room and the facilities in the room. Large comfortable room Secure off street parking. Very central and great breakfast. Very comfortable room. The owner was concerned that we weren't happy with the room and moved us to another one. No staff there when I was leaving. No mushrooms at breakfast. Only problem was street parking in a parking zone, which can be very expensive. It was a bit difficult to park the car. They have a key card system for the doors which were affected by my phone. They didn't work on my return in the evening. I wasn't told about this. I've used key cards before without this happening. A phone number was displayed on the window side the front door in case of problems but when I called it, it went to message minder. It took me 20 mins go gain access bybpoundi.g on the door. Check in staff were a bit sharp and not very friendly. Nothing. I was very surprised on entering the hotel at the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke which seemed to be present in every room we entered and although we made no comment at the time we felt this was something that could be improved on and make non smokers stay more comfortable. Trouble with the room key to begin with. I did not like that it was listed as a 4 star band b. When we were shown our room it reeked of smoke. There was an open bar of soap. The back door opened on a metal grid that was fire eccape. There was a big lighted exit sign that was on all night. The pictures do not really look like the actual b and b.
