Everything. The staff were excellent and so helpful. Free carParking!!They extended my checkout time by an hour free of charge toallow me use the room as an office before leaving for the airport. Again, everything was excellent. The steak in the restaurant was done to perfection. Excellent breakfast and such a great central location with free car parking...I liked the staff, they were very polite. the room was perfect! :) It will be my first choice hotel for my next stay in Cork city.

Our room was right above the main entrance and the noise from people out smoking was quite loud sometimes - and I am a smoker.There was a long queue when checking in, the 2 receptionists were giving good service but were quite slow, the décor is a little bland and boring, the rooms look cheap, housekeeping knocked on the door 3 times before 10.30 am!!. Might be better to include the price of breakfast in the room rate.smell of cigarrete in room, when asked for a no smoking room. Twin room was a pull out camp bed, not really comfortable. Rooms over main road very noisy and unable to open window as room got stuffy. the room was very warm. car parking was limited. Restaurant - very limited food offering, particularly at lunch time. The food in the restaurant was not good. I ordered a chicken Takka masala - it definitely wasn't a tikka masala it was i kin of sweet and sour form a uncle ben's jar - not good. The shower hot water temperature was initially low and it took a couple of requests to get it resolved.there was a bad smell of stale water in the bathroom, which probably explains why the extracter fan was running all the time. the food in the restruant was poor burger without bread was requested, what came was a burger with a rasher on top and the waitress offered to take it back, I declined as I never think it is a good idea to return food to the kitchen for adjustment. Lack of staff at the bar in the evening.One barman serving over 50guests. Had to speak to night duty manager to suggest he helped out. Orhimself - he did help out for 15 mins and it made a huge difference, butnext night was the same problem.
