We were very happy and will definitely return. This is a lovely more traditional garden hotel. The gardens were well tended on a daily basis. The stafff were lovely, lovely people who were very willing to help with anything we requested. We do not understand people's previous negative comments as we did not find the complaints to be true. Although we felt Kuta itself was too busy and bustling we love the resort because it was so quiet and relaxing yet right in the heart of Kuta and only a short walk to everything. The staff at Kuta Beach Club were awesome and friendly and always went out of their way to help. The pool and sunken pool bar was a big highlight and nearly every afternoon was spent keeping cool in the pool and chatting to other guests. . Location to main Kuta was fantastic! Under 5 min walk to Kuta beach. Walking distance to Waterbomb, Legian, surrounded by great restaurants and shops. Resort was clean, pool and staff couldn't fault. Would definately stay again. Facilities are in need of refurbishment but the friendly and helpful staff more than made up for this. Particular thanks to Artika and Warni from the restaurant and Wayan on the front desk. Loved the grounds and the size of the rooms. The pool bar was great and the pool area. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely return there as long as the cleaning is up to scratch. The bed could have been better but was acceptable. nothing. cleanliness (previous owners soap still in shower) & maintenance (broken plug) could be improved, but no serious problems. still good value for money. Dust all over the wardrobe and all the toiletries seems to be recycled and reuse. Cleanliness needs to be improved. bathroom and bed was out dated. Breakfast vouchers were not included for full length of our stay....yet we paid for them. We have stayed many times here before and it seems to be a reoccurring complaint of mine... Small, dirty & the shower leaked. the cleanness of the rooms was appauling, especially the bathrooms, we had to be transferred, second room was better but still not to standard,food got boring after 18 days,, same same, and the noise of staff wheeling along there trollies at 6-00 am which would wake you, last but least, your site quoted us in dollars , then charged in rupeh which turned into a larger amount and a currency conversion charge from my bank, I will not use yr site again for this reason. Booked a superior deluxe room with queen bed ended up with 2 singles pushed together. Rooms need updating. Room wasn't clean, all towels look like they are 20 years old and were white in previous century. Breakfast is bad, the same every day. Only 1 fruit is available - a melon or a watermelon, juice is with a big quantity of water. No cheese or some salami or smth like that to put on a bread. We've missed a half of all breakfasts(( Personal on reception is very unpleasant. The bathroom was shabby, towels were grey instead of white. The toilet needed a good cleaning. The bathroom was one of the most dirtiest of all hotel's that i have ever stayed .... The breakfast staff wernt very quick and one lady kept trying to sell me her husbands silver, this was annoying everyday while I was trying to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. Lack of available seating around pool. lack of seating at pool, basic breakfast. room facility and health. the rooms near the pool are very run down ,they need new beds and the mold in the bathrooms is not good. Room not clean. the bathroom could do with renovations. Wifi services quite slow. Wifi provide in lobby area. It should may provide in room area or more area in hotel. Breakfast not much choice. Tolerance of check out time. The pool was closed for 2 days. The breakfast selection was ridiculous..cereal..only corn flakes,i type juice and selection of hot food average..and fruit 3 only.The staff need training in customer service.The breakfast cook etc.
