I was on a business trip so just stayed for 1 night only, My check in was smooth at 10:00 pm and staff was courteous.My requirement to stay on higher floor as well looked after. Breakfast served in the morning had good variety from Indian to continental. Over all its value for money hotel . Staff was friendly always willing to help hotel was very clean although some repair works were being carried out by the pool... Close to shops and beach....the auto- rickshaws are a great alternative to a taxi & very cheap.

I liked the location of the hotel that gives be a great opportunity to relax by the beach side after a hectic business day. I am very satisfied with the hotel. The beech on a night is very crowded and can be unsafe as every one is watching you and your possessions, we encountered a situation were 2 men followed us but due to my street knowledge I was able to see what was about to occur anyhow I scared them off I won't say how then me a my girlfriend walked back to the hotel....... British people are targeted out there so be careful........ They didn't no I'm from handsworth but they do now loooooool. Was not happy with security in my room. Phone constantly did not work, and had to have all cables replaced. Card key lock not working on several occasions which meant had to traipse back down the corridor, go down to reception and have electronic card recharged each time. Very annoying as was not well and did not need the aggravation. This happened 3 times in 3 days. There is practically nothing in this hotel that I don't like. Hotel is in very good location and very big hotel but d entrance in very small. You need instructions in the bathroom on how to get hot water. The taps/faucets have no indication of the hot and cold settings. A small thing but a bit annoying. Hotel of this caliber should provide free wifi which was not there yet all small 3* and many 2* hotels provide free wifi not much to ask for. Service at restaurant was not as per 5 star standard. Hotel management applied for an advance payment, which was never mentioned in their regulations. I paid the whole bill prior to checking out, just not to continue quite unpleasant conversation. Due to the rules guests pay just on leave. No Mobile Charging points near Bedside. Cramped display of coffe/tea maker. 1) the price could be less 2) local radio cabs with meter should be made available for local transport, Not the blue cabs. Totaly non co operative and non friendly staff. Rooms quite noisy as overlooks busy area. Hotel not very clean rooms are too small for 5*****. Hotel should not be rated as 5*****. No free wifi (for the price of the room, it should be included) Poor selection for TV channels (again, for the price of the room should be included) Poor service at the swimming pool. You could not have a snack in the afternoon by the pool. You had to eat in the restaurant?!?. The decor of the rooms is a little dated. The restaurant is small, which made it a crush for breakfast. The back was also going through renovation, but they can't help that. It is a 5 star on Indian scale. Location is abit too noisy and crowded especially at night. Environment around hotel was cluttered beach. Hotel was old, but clean, charged for wifi. It was nothing that I dislike. Bed sheet were very dirty, I think they haven't been changed between my predecessor and I. The pool area (floor, water, chairs)were very dirty (stains and birds' droppings everywhere!!!) This is not acceptable for a 5star hotel. 1- The rooms were very humid , to much humidity in the hotel , the rooms should be provided with humidity removing machines but they are not . 2- The breakfast is not so good as in other Ramada hotels . 3- The hotel dose not prvide FREE internent service which is odd . 4- Noisy outside the hotel , should not open the windows ever . Everything was bad. The hotel was run down, stinking. The aircondition in the room was ancient and not working. The walls were stained, furniture out dated by over a decade. Poor food, bad common areas. Run down reception. I will never advise travellers to stay here. Small pool Old linen on beds Not maintained rooms I did not get sea view room inspite of booking it online Expensive. Hotel is run-down in terms of design and housekeeping. The restaurant service was not up to standard. Front desk service is not good, i was ignored by 2 front desk persons even when there was no other guest at the counter. I would not return to this hotel. Stomach upset by us both 3 hours after eating in hotel restaurant. Mildew and damp stains extensively in room. Staff always knocking on our door to do unnecessary minor work in room in return for tips. Room smelled of cigarette and damp even though it was classified as non smoking. My wife an ex travel agent said it was a 3 star not 5 star hotel. Maybe the judge was influenced to say 5 star instead of 3 star. Will never return there. It's 2 star hotel. The staff were extremely rude.
