He couldn't have cared less. i ordered a a double room,but got a twin room at the 18th floor (with partial harbour view!). When i told this to the staff,first they wanted to upgrade me , but with an additionnal payment. When i said that this wasn't my mistake, they looked for another room and upgraded me in a double room on the 32th floor without additional payment (also an amazing partial view on the harbour !). Some of the TV channels had English and Chinese sound at the same time - rather annoying. Also, the elevators had no floor memory - many guests seemed to find them frustrating.Yes, only one thing. During the night is noisy.We spent 1 weekend there and the claxons didn;t stop at night!!! really uncomfortable.I could catch teh sleep. Breakfast too expensive.bathroom shower curtain smells a little, towels/robes too big and heavy and new that they shed. We stay there for 5 nights. Everything is perfectly ok just one complain. I think they don't. clean our room very well. They just fixed out bed but dont vacuum the carpet. coz i saw my cotton buds and some dirt still on the floor.Room was small (but that's often the case in Hong Kong). The size of the room is too small. Very small room but was Ok I just needed the room to sleep. The rooms were not large. Exclusive lounge was not always available. Complimantary hors d'oevres were not always provided. Offered discounts on meals did not transpire.The ground floor entrance. It does not look like a hotel. The housekeeping also. They just make the bed but dont clean the other furnitures, cups and glasses. Lighting very poor, bathroom very small with shower over bath. Internet charges are high and unclear and a cup of coffee at HK$50 is ridiculous.I wish there would be free in-room internet. At least would be better to buy a block of time and not be charged daily @ 100 HK. Their towels are too heavy not suitable for asian people like me. We were charged the equivalent of A$8 for each local phone call, a charge of which we were unaware as there was no information booklet in our room. In addition, we were given a cramped room with two double beds (and a third unwanted bed arrived mid-stay, which was then removed), and a view of some disgusting-looking tenements even though all rooms supposedly had harbour views. The front desk needs to be more friendlier. Business area quite small and internet access expensive. entrance too small. Some of the staff didn't appear to be friendly. The room is smaller than what is posted in the website.
