We were 11 friends traveling thru Europe and we al agreed that Charissi Hotel was by far the best hotel of our trip. The Charissis picked us up at the airport with a smile in their faces. The hotel makes you feel at home, its very family friendly. The rooms were big enough and they hay little terraces to go out and breathe fresh air. Dimitra helped us to rent a car, gave indications on the hot spots of mykonos and gladly helped us with our requirements. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airp.
all reviews » This was my favorite part of my European vacation. Dimitra's mother picked us up from the ferry and gave us a small 'tour' on the way to the hotel. They are right across the street from a great convenience store and about seven minutes from the city center. The rooms were perfect! Our view was amazing and the actual structure of the building made you feel as though you were at home. The breakfast was hearty, fresh and offered tons of variety (ham and cheese, melon, boiled eggs). You can eat you. I have travelled a great deal in my days. From backpacking to uber hotels with hotel staff straight out of gq wearing matching shirts and boat shoes. Hotel Charissi was one of the most lovely experiences I have had in a hotel period. This comes down to the warmth of the family running the place. The daughter, Dimitra, with perfect english was sooo helpful from helping book flights, ferries, diving, scooter etc etc. While her parents dont speak english so well, they arrest you with their charm f. This was the BEST hotel I stayed at during my trip to the Greek islands. It is a family-run hotel, and Dimitra and her family were extremely kind and helpful arranging for all we needed. The room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony (with a small table and chairs) and the location (close to the city) was perfect. There is a pick-up service from the port/airport (and back), and when I asked to use their computer to print my flight ticket, they were extremely helpful. I. Hosts were welcoming,friendly,helpful. Very good breakfast included in price. Room with fantastic view over Mykonos town & sea. Excellent advice from Hotel staff on where to go & what to do. It's close to the center of Mykonos. It can be walked but preferable to take the bus (the bus stop is close to the hotel). It's a beautiful, well kept hotel that is clean, and quiet. The staff is very helpful and pick you up and drop you off at the Port free of charge (he even refused a tip!!!). All in all, an excellent hotel. Very friendly and accomodating. Assisted us with all our traveling needs and more. Room is big enough and very clean. Breakfast was a lot af good food daily with a lot of variation with great coffee. Located up a hill, but great view and easily accessable. Made simpler with scooters. Will definately stay there again. Warming welcome from all the family working there since the free transfer from the port to the hotel to pur installation. The room was very clean and very spacious. The sea view from the balcony was just amazing and to finish the breakfast was good, complete and quite varied. The Hotel is located a little bit outside of Mykonos, 10 minutes to go. Therefore it is at a quiet place. Outstanding is the friendliness and support of the owner family. They did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible Thank you. The family that runs the hotel will always go the "extra mile" to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The place is also not in the middle of Mykonos´ busy night, which was our expectation - to keep a certain distance. friendly staffs, kindly free transfer from the port, clean, nice breakfast, especially the home made orange jam :)...beautiful view from the balcony. It was a good overnight stay and the staff made our stay as easy as possible. Transfers to ferry and airport was a big help in view of the shortage of taxi's on Mykonos. The beds were a bit firm for me. I woke up achy. My only suggestion to the hotel owners is to install the shower hanger a little higher (above the head). The public road would benefit from sidewalks. Nothing. The entire stay was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer. Walk into town while not far was on a very narrow busy road, however local bus services available. Easy access to range of beautiful beaches by local buses. Smallish bathroom. Nothing. Nothing at all. Everything was perfect, moreover regarding the cheap prices. The shower in our room needs a lot of improvement (temperature ok but pressure was erratic). a litte bit far away from the beaches. No swimming pool. Nothing. Some staffs don't speak a word in English. The hotel is a bit older comparing to the pics used in the site. Nothing it was great. a little far away from the town. A long walk to the nearest taverna, on narrow busy road.
