Recommended: this hotel looks renovated fresh and pleasant. Bed had a good mattress - firm but not too firm. Bathroom is equipped with a modern spacious shower providing a good bath experience. Towels are large and feel good. The staff seems to be all young very pleasant and happy to help workers. We really enjoyed the interaction with these guys which went out of their way to help us and guide us about Athens. The location is great for an evening out! Located just 2 minutes walk from an ar.
all reviews » We stayed here for one night when we arrived very early in the morning after getting in from Heathrow. The flight arrived at 3.10am and we didn't get to the hotel until at least 4am. However, on our arrival the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They let us sleep in past check out time and in the morning were able to give us useful directions to the metro. The rooms were clean and modern. We would recommend this place and definitely go back. The rooms are spacious and clean, and we had a balcony though it was too hot to linger out there. The complimentary welcome drink in the rooftop terrace bar is nice, and it is convenient if you want a drink/snack. The hotel is on the border of Kolonaki, a pretty area with many cafes. It was very well located and within easy access to the metro. the neighbourhood felt safe and there were plenty of shops and restaurants there. All the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly in particular Anna who was fantastic who helped us with all our questions. Very good equiped bathroom, big shower unit, clean and decent. rooms are new and stylish. In addition I should talk about location: hotel located at quiet and safe area,near Lycabbetus hill, 5 min by foot to the metro station, 10 minites to Syntagma, 25 to acropolis. Reception professional and helpfull. Rooms spacious and clean.Large and well equiped bathroom. Bar with terrace on the 6th flour.Central position in town center, university and National Archaeological Museum. Station underground within walking distance. The girls at the reception desk were very friendly and helped a lot. I loved jacuzzi and a spacy room. The area is full of markets, cafes, close to the university, though not very picturesque. the breakfast was fine. Room is spacious and clean, very comfortable and nice bathroom. great location in small street within walking distance to Acropolis and Plaka area, about 20 minutes. Great restaurants near by. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Chris the bartender/bellhop/clerk was a pleasure to be around. He loves Greece and is very proud to share his knowledge of it with guests. The hotel is located nearby a metro station and Kolonaki area. The room (I stayed at junior suite) was spacious, with a large bathroom. Hot water, clean towels. Location, good restaurants in the area, walking distance to Archeological muzeum, National Library, Syntagma.... The hotel was clean and rooms were quite modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big! Bathroom was huge with a huge jacuzzi. Clean and comfortable size room and wc. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nothing special... Parking is in a private garage on a nearby street. So you'll have to haul your luggage a bit (about 50 meters). Not a big problem (especially that this is the situation with many hotels of that level in Athens ). The mattress was really hard, even for someone who preferred firm mattresses, and our kids who had a triple room said that their bathroom door was missing/broken. Our teenage kids would have preferred a hotel closer to Acropolis/Plaka. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon followed by a Monday holiday, and shops/restaurants in the immediate area were closed. It would have been nice for hotel staff to offer some suggestions. Low signal of wifi at my room. I hope that other rooms haven't such problem. everything was fine. There was a party in the rooftop bar that went all night and was so loud it was hard to sleep. The bed was not the best, but that did not affect our sleep. Only small complaints: air conditioning not adjustable enough (either too cold, or too hot), desk positioned in ways that it obstructed access to bed/nightstand, no laundry facility within the building. Ipokratous is not a beautiful street, but if you are used to city living it is convenient to have markets, cafes, laundry etc. within a few blocks. Can't think of a thing!. There is no free parking. a bit away from the Plaka, 15 mins walk from the setygma. Walls are too thick - you can hear your neighbour taking a shower. Breakfast was awful. The room was not cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast. Beds weren't very comfy. not the best neighborhood. Some necessities not available even upon request (slippers), no parking space, traffic noice. Although the hotel is located near to Kolonaki, 5-10' walking to a very aristocratic area, the location around the hotel is ugly. Ippokratous str is a busy street (even at night). No trees, no green at all. All you see is tall buildings, dark colors. If you dont mind the surroundings, go ahead and chose it. The junior suite I stayed was at 1st floor - too noisy. The matress was not so good. After two nights sleep, I ended with a back pain. Air conditioning in our rooms was not turned on before we arrived and took over 2hrs to cool the room. The location is not the best and parking like imposible!. The breakfast is too pricey. Room was very noisy, could hear everything from the hallway, door did not stop any noise. Location is OK but don't expect too much, it's close to the center but not in the best area. Two things I did not like at all.... until 23.00 very loud music on the 6th floor, and no warm water in the morning.... and the usual parking-problems in Athens.
