Close to the centre of town. Great cocktails and friendly staff. evrey thing was nice. It's great old building with big hall. Live music every day at hall and great atmosphere!. The staff could not be more helpful or pleasant, and the pool.it's in the heart of downtown and has a wonderfull kitchen. good after they change the room to a biger one.

On arrival I was given a very small room next to a service elevator which was really noisy and disturbing, however I asked if I could move rooms to somewhere quieter and the staff organised a really nice quiet room for me no problem, no questions.it's not very comfortable for smokers, but i think it's like that in the whole city. small rooms. The store inside the hotel may not return the tax on items purchased that is owed to you. We have experieced a problem. The rug in the room was not clean. The room was in the back of the hotel and was very noisy. The room reminded us of being the poor stepchild. In comparison to Reidels in Garmisch, Garmisch won.the hotel is not handicapped ready, not will suited for children entertainments such as pool and play ground. The rooms we were given did not live up to the high standards ofthe reception area. Rooms were good, comfortable and clean butnothing special.Room decoration. the room i stayed in the new part,1st floor- facing a short of back yard very very rooms in new part(back yard)of the hotel poor and grossly overpriced for what you get,it could be the room of a 2 or 3 star hotel,,,!!!!. Air conditioning did not work. Location of room could have been better. rooms look old and outdated. I was surprised that a hotel of this caliber had not upgraded their Internet access to Wireless capabilities. Also, it was unfortunate that we were able to hear construction noises in our room in the morning. There should be more insulation. Maybe acceptable at hotels of a lesser quality, but not at a Kempinski. distance from lift to room. Rooms and comfort in new part (back) of the hotel mediocre to poor and grossly overpriced. Airconditioning can not be set at liberty (room overheated). Noise between floors, housekeeping badly located (service areas next to rooms) and sometimes undisciplined (vacuum cleaning at inappropriate hours).
