Very centrally located, clean, great base, not the usual standard hotel interior- nice touches of quirkiness in decor. Quirky and very modern! Clean and central with pleasant rooms, excellent breakfast, and helpful staff.Cocoon opened in May so get there early before it starts getting known, booking up, and becoming pricey. Staff went out of their way to help me with missing luggage problem from flight. Fantastic!.
all reviews » Location, really new hotel but without any problems. great fresh non-standard look and feel of the hotel. Location is close to Oktoberfest, city center, and public transportation. Interesting use of space in the room.Great location, great atmosphere and fantastic room design and layout. Room was compact, clean and a little on the funky side but this may not be to everyone's taste!. Design of the room with the stone shower , clean lines, and the sliding door window seat. Fantastic supportive comfortable bed! Waterfall in Lobby and space in lobby to be in with bar. Very clean, modern, comfortable hotel in walking distance from city centre.Rooms are very unique! If we go to Munich again, we definitely stay there. The 2 male members of staff doing the night shifts (I'm sorry I can't remember their names) were particularly helpful and friendly.very well, staff is good and friendly and hotel is located at good location. Hotel Cocoon is located just outside the city centre area but is withineasy reach of everything, with the tube station just a short walk awaythe city becomes very easy to get around. The hotel staff were veryfriendly and couldn't be more helpfull especially when it came todirections on how to get to places of interest. The breakfast was justright nothing to fancy but a great choice. Its smart design and that it was very well located. Sedlinger Tor station very close and just one stop to Marienplatz. Great location for walking distance to Marianplatz and Oktoberfest grounds. Everything is new.Fun, funky hotel within walking distance to old town. Very clean and friendly staff. The style of the hotel and the room was very nice and contemporary. They make good use of the small space. Interesting design. Staff was friendly, room was OK. Breakfast was great (although EUR 9 additional each). Location was excellent for our purposes. The hotel is located in a very central point, easy access to main turistic points.Central location and air conditioning. modern decoration, 10 minutes to the center. breakfast was expensive and extra to room price. Wireless works . . . . . sort of. Don't count on a strong/fast connection.Breakfast is too much expensive. Heat was not working, but the blanket was nice and warm.the lift is too small. To pay extra for breakfast, and it is too expensive for breakfast cost. Breakfast is not available.. Why wasn't breakfast included in the price of the room?. There is no restaurant. They just have service for breakfast. We had an extra bedroom in our room, however that bedroom had an electronic lock on the door which the staff could not give us a key for. So we had to wedge the door open permanantly. The bathroom walls are all glass which makes the room inappropriate if you're sharing with friends as they will be able to see you shower from the room. No tea/coffee making facilities and fridge. the fact that all the double rooms have showers with transparent crystal walls in the room is not comfortable if you're not traveling with your couple; and nowhere you are warned about it. I stayed just with my opposite-sex friend and it was rather awkward. There was insufficient parking and the sheets were dirty.Sink handle fell off. Hot and cold water crossed at times (may have been working on it, but did not inform guests). Room finishes cheap. Towels were cheap and rough for the price point (had better towels at a hotel 1/4 the price in Budapest). TV only had two English language channels, CNN and BBC, and would have appreciated something I could understand other than bad news. The hotel room was ver noisy.Room was far too small, not described accurately enough. the breakfast was served in a pizzeria next to the hotel and it was very poor, there was no safe and refridgerator in the room, generally it was a modern hotel but with very poor services. The room was set up for a single visitor but booked for a couple (and we were two!).
